Really love this figure. A perfect likeness to RDJ.

This was my first ever HT. Still my favorite $279 and soooooo many extras. Great figure!

I spent time with it last night, and I'm liking it more and more. I found an old power cord that had the correct plug for the base, and spliced it into a 4.5v 1.0a power adapter I had purchased on "The Bay. Now, the base lighting is on switched power...very cool!

I also started playing around with the accessories and a couple of basic poses. I think I had thought of myself as more of a static figure display kind of guy and not someone who would spend much time putting figures in different poses, but I must admit that it's a lot of fun. It keeps the display fresh, and it's somehow a little relaxing and therapeutic, too. :wink1:

The amount of extras with this thing allow for infinite display possibilities. And I haven't even gotten into adding in other figures and accessories (I had thought of adding the Mark V suitcase to the diorama display, for example, just for fun).

I do wish my candy counter were about 4" deeper so that the entire display would sit more cleanly on top. Looking at the pictures I posted a few posts above this one, what are your thoughts on how it fits on top of the counter?

It pains me a little bit to say it, but I think I may sell this set. I like it and appreciate it immensely, and it's beautiful. But it doesn't really fit in the one appropriate spot I have for it and I can't find another logical spot. I feel like I'm trying to jam a rectangular object into a circular hole.

I really wanted this to sit out in front and underneath my Hall of Armor / IM figure display, on my candy counter. But it's a few inches too large (or my countertop is a few inches too small). Bummer!

Just display it with the base! The light up part, not the entire stage.

If you remove the cardboard disc and one of those base bits with wires coming out (at the back) then it looks like you can push the whole assembly back far enough to not overhang. Maybe rotate it 180deg so you have two front stairs at an angle and remove the third stair (which would be at the back). Lots of options to slim it downl

I would also you get a big rectangle of concrete coloured card under the diorama as the red cabinet is distracting.

Just ordered this one and am so looking forward to it. I really need to slow down, though. I only started collecting HT figs about 2 months ago and I already have 5, now 6 figures and 1 PO. 2 I got from the aftermarket as I really wanted them and don't see anything like them will be released in the nearby future (this set and Agent Coulson), the rest (WS black widow, CA and WS) I got because I DON'T want to get them on the aftermarket at soaring prices and really like the iterations of these figures compared to earlier ones as well as the AoU figs. But I really need to leave some room in my display case for future purchases (but it's sooo hard to resist). Only one after market figure I would have liked to have gotten my hands on before it got so expensive which is the Avengers Loki, but oh well. Hawkeye was the whole reason I saw these figures, but when I finally decided to buy him, he was sold out and too expensive on the aftermarket, but as I got the new AoU version on PO I'm happy with that.

Anyway, this was one figure I just had to get because of all of the great accessories and I also wanted a Tony fig and I didn't want a banged up version. I have a feeling I won't have the room to display all of this one, though :slap But sooo many possibilities in posing. I also got the Captain America Shield prototype fairly cheaply off Ebay and I know just how I want to pose it :yess:

I can't wait till I get it.

Just arrived! Amazing set, but it's bigger than I thought.. It will be hard to put the Mark III construction diorama in the same detolf shelf..

Lol great pic :clap I thought he was reading something there but then I seen it was the faceplate. It could have been the instruction manual:lol 'next connect part C into part B using provided tool :rotfl

Thanks! Well, it's a sort of "What the **** am I doing?!" pose :) now I have to find something to hang the blue prints on the wall.. Was thinking about these..

Anyway, I'm really happy with this figure, after buying QS001 and a Neca Predator and the pre order of the quarter scale MK43, I was a little doubtful with 1/6 scale figures, but this set and the Batman Armory are good alternatives to have a nice and different sixth scale collection.

Thanks for your message! I don't know if I can use magnets. I have a cardboard on the back of my detolf that works as a wallpaper and it is not perfectly adherent to the glass, so tiny magnets maybe would fall..
