Wasn't from the movie, it was the "extended look" before the trailer during the super bowl.

nice.....so....so many possibilities with this figure....I may order two....well...maybe just two Head sculpts....maybe....This turned out to be the main figure from the movie...who figured...I figured we'd get 5 maybe 10 minutes tops with him in this outfit.

Gonna stick PO in for this guy afterall. I've only got Vader mythos and the iron patriot due in the back end of this year. I don't see HT showing many more for releases for Q4 13 other than SDCC exclusives. I won't see this till december at the earliest anyway in the uk what with it due into sideshow in august it'll get delayed till september/october anyway.

I see what they were trying for, but i found the first one to be a lot more entertaining.

I have this set on PO. I am planning on doing some unique, but non-movie themed set up with this set. I have some really nice Ducati 1:6 scale motorcycles, that I plan to use in a bit of a diorama set up with this set and Mark7 standard version.
I am going to make a small but nice diorama of this set and the Ducati's and the Mark7, Kind of like a little workshop garage type setup.
I figure if Tony Stark is going to ride anything it would be a Ducati. Red of course.

I am attaching a link to a pic that someone else posted of the exact same 1:6 scale Ducati I have, and they added a rider that looks great standing next to the bike. I don't want to cover the Tony face with a helmet though. Just have the bike in the diorama. Like Tony had the exotic cars in Iron Man.

That is a great idea too. I just love bikes, and a 1:6 scale hot rod or Audi R8 model is near impossible to find and is huge for display. Plus a Red Ducati goes sweet with an IM armor and a flamboyant billionaire
like Tony Stark. But I agree Bruce Wayne would look sweet too.

Looks like a 200 dollar piece, but is only 40.

I was trying to add the Amazon link, but either Amazon or this site is blocking it. Just go to Amazon, and look up 1:6 scale Ducati 999.

PS: Maisto is coming out with a 1:6 scale Ducati 1199 Panigale in June. It is even sweeter then this one.

They *are* MK42 pieces.
What did you think they were?

But on the bright side, the rest of the parts are!
Seriously, though, perhaps it's just a placeholder part. Like in the final version, there will be a MK42 helmet on that bench maybe?

The helmet is what threw me off...I'm interested if all of the "parts" are indeed the M42...I just like the idea of "bookends" for an IM display....I've got the Mark I....now I'd like Stark getting into the 42...
