Thanks QBomb71~ Let me explain why I feel it IS necessary...
The figure you are looking at IS indeed modified.

To the untrained eye these two bodies would certainly look almost identical, however there are some shortcuts here that Hot toys shouldn't me making.

1) Long ankle pegs. They work on figures like the T-800 because he's wearing boots. This is a short body, which means long ankle pegs are going to make this figure have abnormally long legs.

The first thing i did was swap the ankle pegs for normal ones, that's the mod in the figure above, more proportioned legs.

2) Attrotious rib cage. The cheapy body they are using with long ankle pegs is a new trend including Fury, Coulson & Snake eyes to name a few... Look at all the Storm Shadow photos, why does his ribs protrude like that... it's a crap body.

The TTM will give this guy a little bit of girth in the shoulders and MOST importantly, proportion the legs with the body on normal ankle pegs. And a good upper torso with actual pectoral muscles, without an aweful rib cage sticking out...

But hey, no one has to do this, just my preference, thought I would share...

Nice group of Vipers there with Stormy leading the bunch. Wish they would hurry up with either Sideshows new CC or even better the Retaliation version.

I have had mine for about three weeks, but only just opened it a couple of nights back.
It's a great figure.
They really hit it out the park in terms of costume design i think, and it's a perfect replica of his entire costume right down to his ratty trainers.

Find a set of feet or boots you prefer and paint them white.
I like them on him. The still look cool because its Storm Shadow!

I tend to look at Hot Toys boots/shoes in terms of the style first. It doesn't matter if they are the wrong colour. They will always be able to be painted.

Just got mine today from plamoya, but found there are 3 yellow stain on the white leather costume. Looks like a water drop kind of stain, like someone spilled 3 drops of coffee on the costume. Any idea how to clean it without damaging the leather? Ive tried window cleaner, thinner that i used for stripping paint but it did not work. Would bleach work? I also have a foam cleaner for cleaning shoes.

Great figure though, those swords have a heavy solid feel about them.

I did a boot swap from The Boss but because it came form a female figure it made him have tiny feet. If that does not bother you then it looks great as compared to stupid tennis shoes.

I bought a pair of Hot Toys Snake Eyes boots, had board member Rafael Santi paint it white for me (awesome paint work btw) and switch out Storm Shadow's shoes. He looks 10x better now in my opinion. Will post pics later on.
