It's not cancelled. I'm sure we'll see it at Comic Con.
I'm torn whether or not to get the robin too! West was a no brainer but Ward isn't spot on. I also loathe exposed joints... What do you guys think?
I'm on the fence with Robin too, but only because I just don't think there's much bang for the buck there, and if I'm being honest, my main reason for getting him would be as a companion piece to Batman. If I ask myself "Would I display Batman alone in my collection?" the answer is yes. If I ask the same question about Robin, no, I would never display him alone, which I know deep down means I don't really want him. A figure should be able to stand on it's own. If it needs another figure to justify it's place in the collection, then it doesn't deserve to be there.
Get robin, you gotta have the dynamic duo, besides can you picture West batman standing alone? every episode was Batman & Robin. & I agree I didn't like the exposed joints either.

I couldn't display Batman just on his own personally, I never saw the show that way. Like Bgnyc said, it's not the Dynamic Uno
Yeah, I get that. For me, it was always about Batman. He was the smooth billionaire that had Catwoman wanting to **** him. Robin was a weenie.
Apart from the one in the set?
I'm on the flip side of this debate. I was always a Robin fan and can't wait for his release. Exposed joints aren't great but when will there ever be another Burt Ward figure of this quality? Probably never.
So would I display Robin without Batman? No way. These two belong side by side. So I *had to* order batman too.
In my eyes they are inseparable and should've been offered as a two-pack.
This Robin figure, once released, will be among a very few HT figures that could easily pass as a comic version of the character--this being teenage **** Grayson from the New Teen Titans. Others are Reeve Superman, Raimi Spider-Man, Wolvie: Origins Wolverine in wifebeater, Iron Man, and War Machine. West Batman doesn't really work on that level. So if your objective is to have great, high quality figures of comic characters, I think Robin is more desirable.I'm on the flip side of this debate. Besides the main reason I ordered both was because of the car coming eventually?

Definitely couldn't see getting Batman without Robin for the '66 set. Just seems wrong. I'd say use a coupon code and chip the price down. Would stink to hafta pay a premium later if it works out that way.
Agreed regarding Robin being a great comic figure - however, I don't agree with you regarding Adam West. This Robin figure, once released, will be among a very few HT figures that could easily pass as a comic version of the character--this being teenage **** Grayson from the New Teen Titans.
