Loving all the pics Bar :clap The dynamic posing is great with the wired clothing.

A couple of shots with my Hulk. I ended up building a 2nd Logan using the extra clothes & hands in my box set. Pretty happy with both versions, especially with the flannel shirt on him.

It looks amazing with the flannel shirt.
I think we will see a lot of customs from people with this figure, even with just costume changes.

Are the MMS103 and MMS220 the same TTM19 bodies, but just different paint? I might be buying a MMS220 body to replace the MMS103 body because the torso is flimsy.

Yes they are mostly the same, only different is the new one has thigh inhancers added to the upper legs, I don't believe the original had those, that and the new one does not have hairs painted on the neck where the original does.

Can the enhancers be removed? Or are they permanently fixed? Maybe I might try to buy one of the bootleg versions of the MMS103 bodies, or a standard TTM19. I don't know if the thicker thighs would fit the pants. I almost fear taking the belt completely off because I'm not sure I'd get it back on.

They seem glued in place permanently, if your planning to keep him fully dressed with the jacket the TTM19 would be a good way to go I guess. Didn't you just get that figure, whats wrong with the body?

Yeah I did. The whole ribcage section is loose and will dip in a direction pretty easily and doesn't resist gravity at all. I cut up some plastic sandwich bags and folded them up and put them under it, and it seems pretty stable with it... but I shouldn't have to do that when it was promised to be perfect ya know?

I may pick this up, probably bootleg but it looks pretty good. I don't plan on using the tank top look.

That's a bummer, I just checked mine that joint seems fine, not to loose, not to tight. That would annoy me too, maybe you could contact the seller for a discount since you have to track down another body.

EDIT: just seen you added the ebay link, thats the one I just posted a photo of :lol That should work perfectly:wink1:

That seller is a no go, got into a big argument yesterday.

I remember seeing a real version of the body, but it was going for $150 or so.

Sorry to hear that:(

Yeah a 150 is to much for a body, no matter how rare now, you could easily do a light dark brown wash over a TTM19 to bring out the hair detail as its sculpted to the body, or like you said the best match is the knock-off body for price and plug an play action.

Might be the safest bet.

I saw an authentic MMS220 body go for $75 the other day... Have they really gone up that much?

Yeah they jumped up fast, don't know why though. I guess a lot of people are kitbashing their own.

Seems like they make it in a muscle cut and a normal cut. Do you know which one you used on the TTM19? I know it's a muscle body, but it still seems relatively slim...

Mine is the smaller shirt. I actually got it from the James Dean Cowboy figure, before they offered that clothing set with the jacket and jeans. It fits pretty good, but it cannot be buttoned up on the muscle body :wink1:

Amazing what a little paint can do for the likeness of the hot toys The Wolverine sculpt. I just made the beard look thicker and removed the stache and flavor saver

I posted this how to in the show your customs wolverine thread so i will repost it here as well..

I used 93% alcohol and brushed it over the stache and wiped with q-tip. May take a couple times but dont let it sit too long. Brush and wipe quickly!

Then I mixed up a flesh tone using pea size drop of burnt sienna, raw sienna, titanium white and tiny drop of black. Water it down to a milky water. Apply several coats to mustache area.

Add some brown to mixture as needed to match hot toy tone. Then I added a small amount of grey chalk pastel for 5 o'clock shadow on lip. Same process for the flavor savor under lip.

After that I used some watered down mix of brown and black to darken the chops. Darker towards the bottom and around the whole beard to appear thicker.

Then cover the upper half of face.....so you don't lose the gloss on eyes.... and spray with a matte acrylic sealer

Hope that helps bud. It's pretty thick in the movie and the stock paint job make the beard look too much like stubble. It's actually sculpted pretty thick but the paint fails to utilize this.
