I re-watched the film again last night and I am super excited for this figure. I may order two.....

I already ordered 2..; hence i was hoping this came as a dx. 2 head sculpts, the jacket he wears towards the end, a nice diaorama, and may be a battle damaged body (like they gave for dx04) ... Sometimes hot toys need to just do a few things extra for the passion of it. To me this is much worth a dx than the current dx 14... Especially if they did the accesories i listed!

I think the hot toys team dosnt put their head into the projects any more leave alone the heart. I could do with a sculpt with a cigar or so (extra sculpt) ... Someone got to think in their team man, bd body, etc... Sucks that they are happy making it just enough for it to sell... Each piece shld be done as if its the last one ever to be created!

I just saw the movie last night for the first time.
Could have been better.
But was certainly no worse than the previous Wolverine movie.
The bone claws part was a bit of a shocker.
Presumably DOFP might restore the timeline and he has adamantium claws again?

I dint understand you. I thought he had bone claws in the beginning when he was in the world war 2 era. Then he comes back years later and by then his adamentums are intact? ... Not sure what is wrong with the timeline. May be i like always slept of a few scenes in the flight.

He means that
during the battle with silver samurai, his adamantium claws were chopped off when extended, and his bone claws grew back.

Okay. He is born with Bone claws.
In the Weapon X program, his claws and skeleton are coated in adamantium.
But in The Wolverine, the Adamantium samurai chopped the adamantium blades off(It was the only way to suck out the bone marrow, through the stumps of his claws). Then, after he retracted the claws, they healed and regrew and he used those to kill the old dude.
But now he has bone claws.
No adamantium.
I only meant it was a shock to me that they have him back to the bone claws right now.
In the comics, it was Magneto that removed the adamantium from his bones.

He has ademantum claws not sure where there are bone claws towards the end of the movie. Or rather he has bone claws coated with adamentum. The adamentum is bonded to his endoskeleton. As the bone grows or rather the claws grow even the chopped adamentums grow. Basically its a part of the dna now. Dont know about comics but lets leave that aside for creative liberty from comics to movies. I think he still has adamentum claws (as his healing abilities are intact and whatever grows as bone in reality grows as adamentum. ) . As for magnito taking them away , he pretty much screwed magnito in the last stand by taking his powers, unless ofcourse they come back later. The DOFP will be on two time lines basically a future/ past to and fro that would be aimed at avoiding the "last stand"... I guess. Donno....

The adamantium didn't grow back. How can metal be part of his DNA?
At the end of the movie he has NO adamantium on his claws. He's back to bone claws.

I actually loved that it stuck.

In the other Marvel movies this year things happened but were then back to the status quo shortly after.

Iron Man 3

Pepper dies SHOCK! HORROR!... But wait she didn't die.
Pepper has Superpowers now AWESOME... Oh look they got rid of them.

Thor 2

OMG Loki chopped Thor hand off!!!!... Oh it was an illusion.
Awww Loki died. TEAR, SOB... Huh, Nevermind he's alive it was a fake too.

The Wolverine

WHAAAT???? He lost his Adamantium claws?.... Wow they didn't retcon it away. :)
