For those of you critical can you produce the same thing?

"You don't have to be a hen to say that the egg is good or bad" right? :)

Besides, if they can produce their own toys, they won't spend a lot of money for hot toys, and Howard Chen's net worth won't be as good as now..

To criticize, well it's consumers' right. As long as not using bad words and insulting everyone :lol

I know right I think it's funny, I mean sure they can always strive to do better. But if I didn't like figure I just didn't buy it. I am an artist there is nothing worse than having somebody criticize your artistic skill, because an artist I am already hard on myself as it is. We should appreciate what we can get and if we don't like it well it's understandable.

Final product face is wider than proto which is why it looks a bit off. I'm sure the price is dropping. Shouldn't have pre ordered.

I wanted to have a reason to keep my PO but I'm not feeling convinced. It just feels off somehow. Maybe in hand he comes across better. Should bad able to score one under $200 soon enough.

I've never canceled an HT pre-order, but I think this might be my first one.

At least the proto HS had a bit more of an expression. The new one looks pissed off yet too neutral at the same time. It also looks fatter than it did before. I wonder if they toned down the hairsculpt as well.

Not a fan of the body they used either...bummer. I wouldn't have minded if they took a bit longer to release this.

But if I didn't like figure I just didn't buy it.
But they PO-ed this figure, dude.. They like the proto. The problem is, so far from the photos, it seems the final product is not as good as the proto..

I understand that.. I’m also an artist. But we all have to look at this situation with 2 different perspectives. Now, as a consumer, it’s nothing worse than finding the product is not as good as the prototype (based on OMG and the other blogger photos).

It’s a high end figure and cost a lot of money. It's okay to treat and hope for it like one. It will be a different story if the price tag is 50 bucks.

Let’s hope that the problem is the photographer and the final product will be look better on hand.

looks good to me! i like the way it looks from Elljay's photo, but not so much from OMG's photo. IMO of cos

Lighting or not, IMHO it isn't near any of hot toys best work and I couldn't say that is Hugh if I didn't know what I was looking at. This reminds me of the Avengers Captain America Evans sculpt, whereas it is " good " ...not everyone will know who it is without already knowing its Evans. As I don't currently have a Wolverine, I'll be keeping my PO alive as I believe it will grow on me.

It looks just like the proto. I think the thing that's pulling away from the overall look of the sculpt if the paint app on the mustache.
