My first HT figure was Thor. He's an awesome figure. The only bummer as that a little paint from his right arm flaked off. It's noticeable when he's standing straight. I may end up getting Loki to pair with him.

Same thing happened to me. Upper right bicep. I saw some others with the same issue in the same place. Weird issue cause it didnt rub against anything. Must have been something to do with the production. Btw. Bought an extra dark world body and swapped it onto my avengers thor. Looks a world better now. Anyone thinking of doing that should do it. Those avengers thor sleeves are garbage.

Thats a good idea.... The Avengers headsculpt kept me from ever getting it, and I have both TDW thors, I don't want another so I won't be getting it and doing a body+head swap....

still if I had it I would definitely do a body swap as you suggest, I've seen pictures of it and it looks much better

I welcome'd Thor back into the collection today :rock

Light armor only looks better with the arms at his sides. The bent elbow ruins everything it has going for it. I have the armored and a friend has light armor.

That looks great :clap
oh its Stealth.... no wonder :lol

Yeah I like this figure

lol thanks :duff

I have the light armor Thor but the pics almost make me wish I had armored instead

I have both.... in my opinion the Light armor is better

I've had both and much prefer the armoured version, either way if HT don't update the sculpt they can both be used for AUO still

Congrats for having him back, SV! Did you have your first unit sold?

Anyway, count me in with those who find the armored version better. I bought both, and actually had light armored twice (the other I got as "payment" for some artworks), sold both LAAs as each time I compared the figures it's the armored that stood out, IMO. I think the bigger deltoids on the armored version help make the long neck more proportioned to the entire body.

From the pics I've seen, armored Thor has more defined shoulders and bigger biceps. Light armor's arms look good front on, but look thin any other angle. I normally wouldn't want two of the same character but if he's still around during Spooktacular I might try to pick one up cheap.

Yeah buddy, i had to sell him back in september, i think it was due to other finances. I just think the armored arms as mentioned are more defined, they are also closer to the cape compared to the light armour

yeah the light armors arms stick out awkwardly from the body, its not bad but it doesnt look as good as the armored like you said

1/4 Movie Hulk will *only* be 2 feet tall. HT's 1/6 Hulk isn't accurately 1/6, so yeah HT might make 1/4 Hulk bigger than he should be.

Sideshow/Legacy's Avengers Hulk Maquette is an accurate 1/4 scale of the 8-feet tall monster.

Might end up getting this version since AoU will probably have rubber arms again ..

Undecided just yet.
