Got him yesterday - one of the best looking pieces hot toys has produced. I thought I'll have problem with the open mouth - but no. he looks fantastic overall.

Stunning pictures. Brilliant job!! If it wasn't for the stand, I wouldn't hesitate to pick this figure up. But since all of my figures will have Avengers stands, I'll have to get Thor AOU so he'll match.

Anyone know if the Thor: The Dark World custom, boots and armor, would fit on a MOS Zod body? Any help is appreciated

Yeah def looks exactly like DW Thor minus the gold. Easy one to pass up for those that have the previous release.

Is his Armor easily removable? I figured at this time, the earliest we'd see an AoU Thor is at least 12 months away still so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one just to have a Thor figure.

At least this way, if AoU Thor is a bare armed version, I can just swap out armors and end up with a "custom" TDW Light Armored Thor

When he fights Malekith at the end, do the circular parts of his armor look silver rather than gold to anyone else? It might be the bluish hues in that last scene as they do sort of look gold.

I have to check it out but I think I remember the armor having gold trim for the whole movie

Perhaps from the special effects or movie filters? I'm pretty sure they only had the gold ones during this film.

Not sure about the pose, short term I would think its fine, but for long term display its better to air on the side of caution.

Yeah, I'm so glad I finally decided to pick this guy up. I don't know what's taking Hot Toys so long to announce their AoU one but I'm fine with this one being a "placeholder" until then. The gold isn't that pronounced in person and I probably wouldn't even have been able to tell the difference if I didn't know any better.
