Just got the AOU stand to go with my DW Thor...thought I'd try the app out.

After seeing your picture I definitely prefer TDW Thor rather than the one from AoU.

No problem, glad I could help I think TDW Thor is better too, fantastic looking figure.

So I picked up a DW armored body real cheap. Been thinking about this for a few days and decided to just do it. I took my supposed "exclusive" DW sleeveless thor (was exclusive till HT decided to barely change anything and call it AOU Thor) and put that body on my avengers thor and the armored body on the DW thor. Below is the result. For some reason the avengers thor just looks 10X's better in a sleeveless display.

Thanks! I got it from eBay shortly after Thor was released in Hong Kong.

Dark World Thor Armor

Has anyone taken apart their DW Thor? I'm looking at the armor vest, but for the life of me I can't see how it comes off! I know it has to somehow because it can't slide over the arms... but I'm feeling ******** as I just don't see it! LOL

Sure could have. But since the question could also be answered from folks outside the Thor DW thread with knowledge about it... No harm done having a thread asking a question.

Do we have limited resources that will prevent others from being able to post a thread?

This thread will float at the top for a few days and after the OP gets his answer it will drop off to obscurity.


If the dedicated figure threads were not congested with so much off topic blather, which coincidently is posted mostly by the same people that complain about threads like this, the OP might have been able to review those threads and find his answer.

Now imagine if everybody who had a question about a figure started a thread. Think about how cluttered this section would become. Please keep this in mind before starting another thread in the future. Thanks.

Personally I'm all for it. Things get buried in threads too easily and get lost. So I'll keep posting the way I prefer. If Dave has issues with how we post, we'll here about it from him. Please keep this in mind before policing another thread in the future. Thanks!
