You did something wrong and ink merged your thread into the existing figure thread. Why do you continue to be so indignant and defiant?

To be honest, I don't enjoy narcing on people and reporting posts. But if you continue to start threads to ask questions - which the mods have already deemed unacceptable - then I will start reporting your threads.

I'd rather not but you seem committed to this personal narrative that YOU'RE the one being persecuted. :cuckoo:

Sorry my friend, no defiance at all. I'm simply stating my right to post as I see fit. Again not your place to tell me what I should do or regurgitate your interpretation of the rules. I really don't get what you don't understand that you're overstepping your boundaries and it is not your place to police these threads? No nothing was done wrong. There isn't a rule that states all questions are nested in posts. And nothing I did is classified as acceptable!

again, the mod told you if you have issues with a post simply report it. Problem solved. As he said there's no need commentary. And I've said nothing in regards to being persecuted. I'm simply stating that you are overstepping your boundaries and you're out of place by telling people what they can/cannot do. So feel free to report my posts anytime you see something that upsets you. So for the second time, let's just agree to disagree. Fair enough?

Oh and for the record, you're breaking the code of conduct rules which clearly states you are not supposed to be policing these threads and telling people what to do. But don't worry, I'm not going to report you!! ;)

This is a private board...you have no right to post as you see fit. I know for sure I can't post as I see fit. Every thing you type smacks of persecution. And how come everybody else can follow basic board etiquette except you?

I like my Dark World Thor. He's cool.

:lol

Yeah me too! Hence why some of this nonsense banter came up because I want to modify mine. I bought a zc seamless arm figure and I'm going to try to set him up in the LA version. Mine has the silver arms.

It's nonsensical to clog up the Marvel section with threads posing questions that could've very easily been included in the figure thread. Or not so very easily, apparently....

Are you a mod? If not please refrain from telling fellow board members what they can/can't do.

Here's the rules you are supposed to follow just FYI:
From the code of conduct
If you have found a post or receive a private message that you feel is inappropriate or that violates the forum code of conduct, please use the report function to notify staff. Do not attempt to moderate discussions or correct other users yourself.

No, I am not a mod. But the mods feel the same way I do on this particular issue.

You can look up the board's Code of Conduct but you can't follow simple board etiquette. Interesting.

And before you accuse me of trying to tell you what to do or acting like a mod, I wouldn't have to do any of these things if you just did what everybody else does.

OK great! Now that we've established that you aren't. Please refrain from telling board members what to do. Please refer to the code of conduct for the rules for future reference. Let's move on now.

I have the sleeveless and armored one. I won the sleeveless from a friend here on the board that was running a contest and I forgot to cancel the silver chainmail armed on on BigBadToyStore. Now I have for Thors - the original, Avengers and both Dark World ones.

And ink merging your thread should dissuade you from trying to start unnecessary threads in the future. But I doubt you'll learn anything.

Yankee is only helping you man.
You do have every right to post as you see fit. So there's no stopping you from creating a thread that has something to do with Marvel, DC, etc.
But if that thread falls into the category that can be streamlined by its proper channels, then it should be.
It prevents clutter.

Its pretty much a given in any forum that you posts to the proper category.
The only exception is:
A) You're a newbie and you didnt know there's a thread already for it.
B) You need a quick response, since new threads gather quick attention.

This prevents coming into marvel and seeing clusterF&*@$ of threads all talking about the same thing.
Its annoying.
Some people may just not be vocal about it like Yankee did, but I'm sure there's a lot of people here that gets annoyed by redundant threads.
There's a reason why most of these useless new threads eventually get buried...cause people will
eventually just ignore it.
What did the mod eventually do to your thread? Merged it the right thread.
Its not cause the mod wanted to please Yankee, its to prevent cluttered sections.

I think you're getting this wrong...I think you're getting offended cause you feel like you're being told you cant start a thread.
Its not that. You can start a thread all you like.
But if its specifically about a character that already has its thread, then it should be posted there.

Half the people are here to argue, and the other half post to see their count go up. It's ridiculous in some of the Marvel threads, one word posts or gif replies. They do that crap constantly.

Its funny how some people can have close to 20000 post in less then 2 years and yet have not really said anything at all.

Amassing information in a singular thread creates CLUTTER.

I laugh when someone tells a newbie to read the whole thread before posting a question. Do some of you know how ridiculous that is?

Who has the time to fish through 6000 posts to find a picture or to get an answer to a question.

I don't, but I'm guessing it would be the people that have the time to post 20000 times in less then 2 years

I would rather have 20 easily readable and easily searchable threads about Dark World Thor, then one unmanageable thread.

It's funny how some people can have close to 1250 posts and have a whopping two bars of rep. Now THAT'S post quality. Maybe he should start yet another thread. Or threaten to discontinue his Premium Membership....

No, amassing information in a singular thread creates organization...
Creating redundant threads IS clutter.

I dont know about you but if I want to look up a mod that was done on AOU Cap, then the first place I would look for
is the AOU Cap thread.
I shouldnt have to look at the whole Marvel Section when it can be narrowed to one thread.

The threads should be streamlined. If I have to look at seven threads to get the latest word on the next figure then I'm leaving the forum. If I cared at all about this figure, I would have seen the post here. Anyway the mods obviously merged the thread so let's end the discussion. Post in the appropriate section
