OK so I just swapped around to the ZC body...
You have to pull the armor apart down one side to remove. It's just glued in a couple little spots and comes right apart very easy. Everything else is a straight swap. The only thing different was the handpegs... These seamless arms have the metal tube running through them and the standard wrist pegs don't work... It's a different kind of peg. so I used the ZC hands as they have quite a few and work just fine. Skintone matches the head sculpt really well! All in all I'm very happy with this body! It is a very cheap alternative for those that have the dark world Thor with the chain arms and want the ability to flip flop between the sleeveless light armor look.

Nice pics. I'm not brave or experienced enough to mod figures so all the power to you. I never got the LA Thor so it makes the AoU one worth it for me to get. I do have the chain mail version and love it. Until AoU Thor arrives, TDW Thor stands tall with the rest of my Avenger sets

I'm contemplating parting with my LA DW Thor, but afraid I'll eventually be wishing the exact same thing.

Yeah at the time he was my clear choice to let go but afterwards I really started to appreciate how great a figure he was. My wife was even impressed with how realistic the sculpt looked. I have taken to scanning eBay just in case a great deal pops up lol.

You need a Thor if you have some of the Avengers displayed together! The LA look has really grown on me! But happy I have the ability to flip flop between the 2 now!

I'd like to see Odin get another figure with Thor 3. Missed out on the first offering and I think Hot Toys could perfect some of the minor flaws with that figure. Thor 2 Odin was a pretty cool design too.

Not sure if Thor3 is Hemsworth's last, but if it is then hopefully you're correct. The Thor flicks seem underrepresented by Hot Toys, unless I'm forgetting something.

I'd like to see an Odin figure with the crows that could attach to his shoulder or outstretched arms maybe. Plus there was a young Odin from the first Thor that would have been cool.

Unless there's another color version of an Iron Man suit they haven't made yet! Those things are getting to be like the "lightning strike" Batman toys from the 90's. I assume they're selling or they wouldn't keep making them, but damn! Thor figures would be far more interesting IMO.

Under represented for sure. A Thor from every movie he's been in, two Lokis (and not even one from the first movie!) and an Odin. Whether or not they pulled the plug on Loki 1.0 because he was the Avengers villain? who knows. The only flipside is he has been in three movies. And as we know, TDW figure is really a cut down version of the Avengers version, which isn't Hot Toys fault. That was a restriction of the movie. Still, the Thor 1 version would have made for a good contrast if he had been a throne version.

I still wish we'd gotten a Loki from the first Thor movie. The Avengers and TDW Loki's are almost too similar, although I own both. Hoping that Ragnarok Loki is different enough to justify picking up his figure. I'm surprised we haven't seen more figures from the Thor line! I'd love to see a Sif at least.

No offense to fans, but they made a Maria Hill figure but no Sif? Which is the more interesting design? They made a Quicksilver too. No Heimdall? Just saying. Pepper Pots? Maybe, but only one Odin?
