This! :clap HT please take notes.

My only concern is part of the chest also needs to be swapped out between the sleeved and sleeveless versions, not sure if HT can engineer a solution. If HT were to only make 1 AoU Thor, I'm hoping it's the sleeveless. Valid point that they already have all the molds and tooling for both of the TDW Thor figures, just a simple paint swap and maybe a new base and they can go to market.

They could just leave a small bit of excess chainmail off the end of the arm, and then you just tuck it into the armor :dunno

i doubt they will make 2 versions for AOU. There was a sleeveless and armored Thor in the first Avengers and they went with his main outfit. And there were a good amount of characters in that film. AOU has even more characters so making 2 of an older character won't have room. I'm thinking his sleeveless form (the EW pic with Cap) is early in the film when he is just coming back to the team from Asgard like in the first film and he will take on the form like we've seen in the on the set photos.

^ I thought that too but Thor changed costumes between Thor and Avengers and HT didn't yet have a sleeveless version for him at the time. This time around, it's pretty much 99% the same costume and HT already has the 2 figures. Knowing HT's love for quick money grab variants, I could actually see them re-releasing both figures for AoU.

I want to believe that eventually Hot Toys will do us the favor and just include the sleeveless arms as accessories like they did for the Ironman Mark VII.

I'm curious how Sideshow are handling this as well. I contacted them through the returns and exchanges page on their website and yesterday they told me to do it over again. :slap Still waiting for a response as to what I should do and as much as I love the look of this figure, it is hard to justify a $250 purchase that can't even be touched without disintegrating.

I have a feeling a **** storm is incoming. Still waiting for them to reply to me

which is hilarious because if theres a version HT's is gunna do for age of ultron it will be this sleeveless one :lol

Actually if they were to make one version it would be the armored one. The sleeveless is the same as TDW. The armored seems to different in that the accents are silver and his hair isn't tied back.

in all the promo work for the movie he is sleeveless...

and armored is almost the exact same, except the sleeves... :dunno

am on live chat no and she is linking me to the returns form :( Already filled that in but heard nothing yet.

Edit:

They have received it and will deal with it soon

Pretty sure that the moment of impact occurred just as his feet were touching the ground, or as they were about to touch the ground. It looks awkward because Thor is elevated to the level at which he's rearing back in that scene. The position of the body clashes with the position of the hammer.

Ah, so it's almost a 2 handed strike as well. I think in my head I was attributing Winter Soldier's one arm punch to Cap's shield to Thor's attempt to smash it. I'll futz around later today. I feel like his body being elevated but vertical will look weird but I'lll give it a shot.

so i got on to fed ex and the £80 was a mistake on their part, they are now assessing the parcel again and i should have a new invoice within 12 weeks, a friend of mine got charged £41 which helped the case so luckily i don't need to pay that stupid price

hey guys one question, its there a proper way to take the hands out of the pegs? for the first time since i got him i was changing the hands to hit some poses and i found it very hard to take the hands out, in fact the peg came out from the arm before the actual hand, is this normal or im doing something wrong? i also find it difficult because the gauntlet moves freely in the arm and i was afraid to peel the paint off if I squeeze it to much
