That's the way mine is. Barely visible so its not a big deal. No paint rubbing off either. I honestly don't think it'll happen unless someone is careless. Anytime i've adjusted the arms I pull them away from the armor.

That's not true at all. I knew about the paint flaking issue before I received my Thor and was extremely delicate with moving the arms. The left arm still had paint flake off. The right arm, which I use to hold the hammer, was rotated and moved up and down WAY more often and did not have a flaking issue at all.

It's a factory QC problem, because I received my replacement and do not have problems with flaking paint at all.

If the paint flaking issue was because of normal wear from movement, you would see the problem happening to BOTH arms, but many people are only having the issue with one arm on their figure.

Exactly. The second I pulled him out of the box I could see spots on the rubber. That's not good...

No it is not, I dread getting mine since it will sit in the warehouse for weeks until September when it ships

Sweet! I'm one of the many people getting this figure after all! Glad I didn't have to end up sacrificing Spiderman 3 figures. PHEW!!

It is absolutely worth it... awesome looking figure and I've had no problems.

I got this guy last Thursday and must say is probably Hot Toys best Marvel figure, so far of course, one of my favorites. The headsculpt is nailed, great detail on outfit, I like the sleeveless look, and nice base. The body proportions are perfect also. The Avengers Thor's shoulders are too wide, like others have said, cartoony. I like the dirty cape also. At first I like the clean look of the Avengers, but i like this weathered look, more authentic.
They shouldn't fiddle with the HS anymore for future Thors unless it's the hair.
They pulled off the open mouth look nicely with this.
