I will try to make my own using the stock as a template. Customs are cool but $40 plus dollars for a piece of velvety cloth is too much forme.

Try rayon cape from ilforigno cost about $30 or cheaper than other custom. rayon looks better in 1/6 figure than velvet

Sadly, so is paying $60+ for a custom one....

I made 4 of my own for $11. ;)

The stock cape isn't that bad. I don't know why people futz it all awkwardly. It can be okay, not as great as custom though. (Pic is DX12)

The stock cape would work better without the wires IMHO. I've done so much futzing with mine that it's kind of starting to sit naturally on the shoulders. I realise it should be perfect out of the box, but I reckon removing he wires and maybe ironing it might help.

I see too many people not stuff the cape in also... it's not supposed to be singular flat, but actually bunched up at the shoulders.

I personally like the stock cape on DX12/Armory Batman. It looks fine after you futz and I thought the wires really help the drape over the shoulders.

Anyone that wants to see a horrible stock Batman cape should bust out the Toy Fairs Begins MMS 155. That's a baaaad cape.

Just goes to show how subjective this hobby is.

I'm with DiFabio. After hearing about a new Twin Peaks season coming in 2016, I don't care about anything else today. ;)

I actually had a big big smile when I read that news earlier from another site!
Certainly was a great surprise.
I still sometimes go to youtube just to listen to the theme song while I'm working.

I have the soundtrack to the TV series and the movie on my music server. ;) And DVDs (and their rips I just deleted from my video server). Oh oh, we're going off topic. So anyway, as I was saying…

I re-watched the first episode a couple of months ago for the first time in a long time and I got chills as soon as the theme song started up in the intro sequence. I'm fairly confident I would literally (as in actually do it, not figuratively) give up my left nut for quality licensed 1/6 figures from this show.

It's definitely the best of a bad lot. And I'm not a fan of the heavy velvet custom capes, Tony's short cape looks fantastic on him though.

Same here, re-watched it a couple of months ago, and the magic is still there. :)

If you ever want to take a sledge hammer to some of the magic, watch the episodes of this season's Ray Donovan with Sherilyn Fenn. The years are not so kind to everyone.
