So they do have the light up feature but it's just not powerful correct? I was trying very hard to not get this figure so for a long while I tried to not even read or see anything about it. I knew I would like it if I did even though I wasnt a fan of the character. Well, I bought it anyway. So now I'm kinda playing catch up. So sorry if that was answered already. Thanks!

Ok thanks man. Guess I'll be tearing apart another laser pointer.

This figure looks so good. I Wish it didn't so I could pass. So much good stuff coming.

Yea I agree. I'm not a fan of the character, but it is a friggin incredible toy. I can't wait for him. Cheers.

whiplash vs igor! fight!

Does that work? :lol
I wonder if you can buy flexible cold cathode light thingys

It can. It's not as simple as just tearing it apart obviiusly. But fortunately I've learned a few tricks making full size props over the years. I did it with my mk6 so it has the one off laser from the whiplash fight. I need to see the figure to see what way would work best for sure. I would have preferred they use an EL based whip personally.

That is te first pic that made me realize how huge Igor is. Waiting on a sale before picking him up.

Yea he is huge. My only issue with igor is that he more then any other figure has that "kids toy" look or feel. And I have no good explanation why.

I agree. That's why I passed him up. Hulkbuster & Iron Monger all the way for me for large figures. Plus Igor had what 1 minute of screen time.

Same. Holy smokes that figure is huge.

I was hoping that was going to be the case but I'm guessing they figured it wouldn't be worth the hassle/QC issues/higher returns, etc. Would've looked exceptional, though.

just find this picture on the internet. this whiplash from super alloy looks promising!
which said releasing in 2014. but i've never heard of this one. any body has bought this?

Damn that does look sweet. I wish Hot Toys would stop with this battle damaged stuff.

They do it becuase people are so picky that if there's even a lil bitty blemish they return them or want a replacement part. It was accounting for a lot of loss. Adding a weathered finish isn't something that they love doing as it adds time and cost. They would prefer to have a clean look. But they where forced into this weathered look.

As for that whiplash.... PI has two hundred (they make the super alloy) or so prototypes that they have shown that have never made it to market. They lost their 1/6 license so they can not make 1/6 anymore

I agree with you 100%. I just wish that the consumers didn't force their hand in doing the Battle Damage. Most of the time it's not really done that well, I mean it's not bad but it could be done better. That's why I prefer the clean look. But I understand why they do it. Cheers bud. Hope you have a great day.
