I float in a similar boat. Almost all of my final poses are found by accident. I was reposting my Star Lord into gun drawn, but I stumbled on a perfect running pose much better than what I tried to purposefully do with WS Cap.

That is the brillance of action figures, I guess. I only ever had scales in fixed poses so I'm always surprised by how much more interesting joints can make a figure. It's hard to get bored by a Hot Toys figure when you can just change them into a different pose once a week or so.

Unfortunately I missed the Iron Studios 1/10 Winter Soldier; he's a stellar piece.

But don't worry. The Iron Studios 1/4 scale Winter Soldier is coming; I.S. says they will unveil their 1/4 scale Bucky and Cap by this September.

Considering the quality shown by their AoU 1/4 Cap and Iron Man..... *looks at wallet*..... winter is about to hit my bank account. That I.S. AoU Captain America is seriously one of the most beautiful statues I have ever seen. Can't WAIT to see their take on Bucky.

I can wait to see the price tag tho. OOOUUUCCCHHHHHHHHHHH

OMG for real?! I need to pay more attention! When I found out about the 1/10 WS hewas already sold out everywhere. :/ Now 1/4 might be a bit too big ... but I still can't help to be interested. I fear the price though ... XD then again, if the sculpt and painting is gorgeous, I might have no other choice but to get both ....

Considering their other work, the sculpt is going to be jaw-dropping - and so will the price. I'm thinking around $800. I really don't have room for 1/4 pieces, but this one will be super hard to pass up. Would really like to get Cap to go with him, but that's a financial stretch.

OUch! That is indeed jaw-dropping ... but hey, if it's really that good, I would probably still consider getting it. I love the Falcon one but sadly, Cap and Buck are the only one's I'd buy due to not enough funds and space.

Edit: Holy **** ... their AoU Cap is 55 cm! My ... where would I even put one of these things not to mention two?! ^^'''' Another reason I why couldn't get Falcon ... 78 cm is just too much. XD Why can't those things be like ... 1/6? XD That's a nice size!

Ever since Ramatuelle mentioned this 1/4 statue, I'm stalking Iron Studios' Facebook page hoping that they'll finally show Cap and Buck coz unless they ruin them completely, I'll pick them up. Money be damned ... space too. That AoU Cap is so gorgeous that if their CW statues have a quality like that, I'd regret not buying them much more than going a few months without food.

Haha oh yeah, I've noticed. XD Everytime I get a notification, I rush to see what it is they've posted just to find another Ghostbusters figure. ^^'''' Haha~ Come on~~~ I need to see Cap and Buck! I hope they get the likeness on both right ... gosh I'm so excited. XD

Thank gods, I've already prepaid the CW Steve & Bucky pack so at least from a financial point of view I don't care when they're out. But of course I want them here asap .... daaaamn~ release them already~~~

Well, sadly, it's gonna be the CW one since the statues are for this movie and Sam's got the CW outfit too. So there's reallyno doubt.

Be sure to use white glue. It wont harm the fabric.

Looking good so far, damn I relly hope the likeness is good! *prays*

Not too fond of the skyscraper though coz that makes it more expensive and harder to display but ih well ... as long as the likeness is good and the rest is as spectacular as their AoU Cap, I'll find money and make room. ^^
