To Skizzoid I didn't even notice the height difference I'll you said it haha so guessing it's not that noticeable as in the pics (currently away so can't check in person again) but that also might be iPhone camera distortion on his hair and not sure what pegs caps on, is longer foot pegs a common mod for that figure?

I got a spare electroplate shield lying around, already has like 7 chips on it before I sprayed it. If anyone knows how to add movie-accurate BD to it, I would love to learn how.

Look up techniques on dry brushing, that's the perfect way to start and it's relatively simple

For my shield I used silver paint applied with a very thin brush to create the chipping/scratches, soft pastels for the ash effect and a semi-gloss sealant to set and protect the paint.

To be fair, I was looking for the height difference since I know Cap was on the short side while the newer figures seem to be getting taller. Cap originally came with short pegs, but many of the later shipments came with additional longer foot legs, so it should be a common mod for the figure. If you want to take off the boots to check, these are the long foot pegs and these are the short ones.

If you're only using what it came with, you probably have the short pegs. And in that case, I feel better about the height difference.

I'm really tempted to get this guy instead of Stealth Suit Cap, the flaws in Cap are really starting to bug me. (Would wait for AoU Cap) Just wish I could get him for a bit cheaper.

I saw the full set of photos posted by the customizer on OSR Facebook page. It looks like the arm did get a chromejob.

Too bad Fb's acting wonky it won't let me right-click so I could either save the photo or just copy the URLs for posting here.

Personally I like the original arm better. Maybe if they did a black wash on this to put some black into the recessed areas?

Yeah a wash or some dry brushing would do good. The shine hides all the details

The rooted hair on that almost kinda ruins the arm for me. Where was that one awesome modded head sculpt with the good hair? Put that on this and it should look better but I'm actually super fine with the arm we already have. Something about the chrome on this arm makes it look in a sense, cheaper than the one we already got. But that's just me.

Mine arrived the other day so I was rearranging some shelves to make room,I took out my bespin luke and decided to see if the hair pieces were swappable.to my suprise the luke head sculpt looks identical to the winter soldiers.lukes brow looks a tad off but with the winter soldier wig on it,it looks identical to Sebastian Stan.
