I'd love to know if this figure sells as much as they expect.
I pre-ordered it then cancelled it mentioning the price point, just a drop in the ocean but it felt good.

A lot of people mentioned that they did that, hopefully it does make a difference in the end and Hot Toys, Sideshow see it.

I could care less bout that mask personally, as I dont need to display him with his back turned around holding his mask like the infamous pre heist scene.

Plus, I think it wont be long before the customizers here or on ebay starts offering em anyways. Might even better than the official 08 stuffs.

But it doesn't matter how much damage financially it's causing HT. They are not getting my $300. That makes a big difference to me. People are plunking down the money even though they feel it's overpriced. I don't give a **** how much I think I want or need this when it feels like a rip-off I'm not playing. I'm not fooling myself in thinking I know what goes into making this figure, all I know is the price just doesn't feel right. I can pretty much purchase whatever figure, statue, etc. that I want, but that doesn't mean I should. The general consensus on this figure is that it is overpriced and not just slightly. Hobbies are wants not needs.

That's not allowed per forum's rule. Even though I'm guessing majority of posters here feel that way bout this release.

Hasn't the "it's too expensive" conversation been done to death now? Easily the last 100 pages have been on that subject. I think it's established that you all think it's too expensive, there's no need to drone on about it. If you can't find another topic to discuss about the figure then don't post anything. By now your just repeating yourself. Move on.

Yeah honestly I don't really get the outrage over this figure. If people don't want it for whatever reason it's fine but the majority of this thread is just people *****ing and moaning about how the price is too high and blah, blah, blah. It's really quite old by this point. Discussion is one thing but after a while it feels like borderline threadcrapping.

I totally agree. It seems that people are jumping on the bandwagon and hating this figure because everyone else is. If this figure cost $220 everyone would praise it. There'd be no complaints about the suit or the mask. But the 'slightly' higher price acts as everyone's excuse to find fault. I for one can not wait for this figure as I missed the first one and the price doesn't bother me one bit because I know I'll enjoy this figure.

Not the best figure ever for sure but why not take the time and really answer to other boardmember's arguments instead of just posting things like this?? There's obviously enough time to post the same stuff again and again on the other hand... not only you btw.

Franpincho, I understand people may not like this release. If you got an issue with the figure feel free to raise it. I just think the cost discussion should just end. If we take the cost out of the equation, what don't you like about this release? It might create a new discussion

You or any of the other detractors don't have to like it. I could care less, but when it's the same people saying the same things over and over that essentially is threadcrapping. If you don't like it whatever. If you feel like airing your opinion fine. Don't keep on with it twenty times over though, it gets old.
