Well I guess I gotta say it.....I was wrong.

The $269 price tag is ridiculous.

I thought the price had to do with the popularity and high demand of this character. But after seeing all of the deals that are going for Hot Toys at Sideshow just goes to show these prices can be dropped significantly.

Hot Toys must have really upped their production numbers over the last year or so and it is coming back to haunt them.

I order mine yesterday. Used some reward points on it and it cost me $190. Getting the figure this friday...

To be fair, it is a highly improved figure. Costume is totally reworked, accessoires are upgraded, headsclpt is reworked and painted far superior. People were asking for it and HT delivered. I do ike those upgrades from time to time, as youcan see how much their skills have improved over the time.
But I have to agree woth you, its quite expensive. Maybe too expensive, but thats up to everybody on his own.

Too bad they still used black buttons, not white. The watch is completely wrong. Watch whatever, you can't really see it I guess. But the freakin' buttons, HOW HARD COULD IT BE HT?

Off topic, but has anyone gotten/seen this Headsculpt for themselves? It looks good in the pictures (as it should), but I never really get "custom" head sculpts from eBay. What do you think of this? Quite a few have actually been sold but I'm a Jon snow when it comes to ebay sculpts.

I wanted to get a separate sculpt and truetype body to use for my dx01's clothes, since the joints on the original body have gotten horribly loose and the head for that figure isn't as good as brj 2.0

The quality of casts and paint jobs from those eBay sellers is variable. That one hasn't been released yet, so who knows. I personally take issue with that specific one on principle, because that was a custom sculpt that was recast, repainted, and sold without the sculptor's permission. It's essentially a counterfeit sculpt.

I agree, I think its a good looking figure. Expensive but beautiful. I would love to have him but for around $200-220 shipped.

My patience has been rewarded! Still zero interest in getting this figure since I have v1 but I've been trying to find the bag, rack, and grenades for a good price since he came out. Just bought everything from Toyanxiety.com for $30!

Nice! Shame they only parted out 1 figure. Those are the parts I wanted as well but I'm never fast enough since I never know when it's posted up

When I got mine it said 2 bags available. The other one probably got snatched up right after I got mine. The only reason I got it was that I saw Toy Anxiety post in their thread on this forum that it was available. Complete luck and good timing.

Think we'll get a Jared Leto joker before a next ledger? Me hopes they'll base the next joker's look on how he looks in Arkham Origins.

Also, the joints on my brj 2.0 body are getting loose (used it heavily for stop motion). What would make a good substitute body?

Leto - handsome, charismatic, award-winning. About to take on the role of a lifetime. I can already see the swoon in Howard's eyes.

Suicide Squad drops in 2016? Figures come out later that year or in 2017, huh? Hmmm, I don't believe HT can hold out. I think we get another Ledger Joker before then.
