Yeah, one of the greatest! That was a cool behind the scenes shot btw, one of the very few of Heath. Wondering if there will ever be more revealed.
Seems like he actually didn't really wear makeup under the mask during the opening scene, except for the part in which he pulls up the mask.

Yeah came across that pic today and had to share.
I want this figure just so I can pose it like that first Heath shot, back to camera holding mask and bag on shoulder haha.
Saw a pic of it done by another user here, so good!

There's another one in the web where he's just entering the "Bank" building with the other clowns. Really like these shots.
Sadly it'll not be possible to pose this figure like that right out of the box since the mask is fixed at this version and the headsculpts of the older version both of course come with the Joker makep. But there's a custom headsculpt by Creg that would work great for what you want to achieve.

Luckily I have the original. I think I'll give that one that pose you were talking about, and I'll put the new one in my current pose.

This has been very good conversation over the Joker origins. Great to see all of the material dug up to discuss the history and everyone's opinions on which one they think is the best.

Nolan did a tip of the hat with the "wanna know where I got these scars" play on words for the complexity and unknown definitive history for the character.

:clap

Well, I for one am glad that the Joker didn't fall into a vat of chemicals this time around. That would have been so out of place in the Nolan movies. If the Joker is included in this new Superman series, such an origin would fit better in that universe, seeing as it's main character is an alien with super powers.

Maybe one day I'll see Batman and Robin on film, done in a way that is not corny and completely unbelievable. The director and screenwriter who pull that off will get endless praise from me.

Yep and here it is with 8-bits paint job.

Then u need Creg's sculpt. ;)

It's on his (Chubbyman's) Instagram... check it out HERE!

That's Zack's Joker 2.0 resculpt, personally I think Creg's is better.

As much as I like the repaint and the re-sculpted hair, I don't think the head sculpt looks like the actor. It's not bad, and I might still get this guy, but I still can't justify paying $200 + for a 2008 sculpt. Can the new paint really make the head sculpt look updated?

Never said it did, but it is Hot Toys best attempt at the Ledger Joker. The DX11 just looks like a cartoon character with those dam PERS eyes and duck shaped jaw.

Um...I never said you did...so I'm not sure what you're talking about :lol I was just giving MY OPINION on the sculpt and how I don't think it looks like Ledger, whether you think it looks like him or not, it has nothing to with my initial comment/post or even my opinion on the quality of the sculpt. Anyway, I see more Ledger and more of the Joker's personality in the DX11 head sculpt, but again...that's my opinion.

Since u replied to most I assumed u were trying to contradict me, my bad :slap

Each to their own man, and TBH I do think the DX11 has potential, since I have modded versions of it with only minor tweaks and the likeness was nearly dead on. ;)

Man, there is so much behind the scenes footage and for some reason WB doesn't want to show it. Behind the scenes interviews, makeup testing, costume testing, so much they don't want to show us. They documented everything, and there's even a video of Ledger wearing the costume for the first time in a dark room with a table full of knives, and again, they don't want to show it...I don't get it?

Oh it's cool :) I do like the BRJ sculpt and I am considering getting this one :)

Yeah, I collected many many pictures over the time and for sure there are many footages from these and more. Not sure if it's somehow about keeping the myth of the Joker the way it is or if they might plan to release them later on a kind of special edition Blu-ray or what might be the newest standard then?! :dunno
