That is quite the understatement...
I saw this only once, and I do remember I didn't find one bit funny.
Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles on the other hand, classics. Especially YF.

Yeah it's pretty bad now, but I admit the first time I saw Spaceballs as a 13 year old, Star Wars loving kid I thought it was the funniest damn thing I had ever seen, and was laughing harder than I've ever laughed at anything in my life. :D

Even though it came out a full four years after the last Star Wars movie.:lol

May the Schwartz be with you!

And the bigger the better!

I tend to agree. Spaceballs should be better than it is but its really just sort of okay in my opinion. Great cast and I like Mel Brooks but I've never loved it.

I agree. It tries way too hard to be funny and ends up being very pretentious. Has maybe one or two good laughs at most.

No, I think they've all been way off. Not sure if they'll change anything now, though stranger things have happened. Here's hoping we can get Inigou to do a Han...

I'll go one better - I haven't even seen it. :lol

Isolated scenes from the movie are some of the funniest scenes in film history. I mean tremendously inspired stupid stuff, Wilder is iconic in it.
Watching the entire movie can be a bit of a chore though. It's more a series of hilarious sketches.

Man!

I've just checked in with my Flexpay schedule at Sideshow and it's saying that the final payment is now not due until September 5. Can anyone else confirm this?

I'm sorry, Peter Boyle will forever be Frank Barone to me. :lol
