Yeah, that's the auction. Congrats on winning. I ended up getting one new for $260, but I have to pay shipping from Japan.

Ohh thats a great deal, congrats as well . I didn't really look around outside ebay. I just got on the Go Train after reading all the comments on this fig. It started at $149 and u know once you place your bid its always "well its only a few more dollars" lol. All i need is a R2. As far as i know the SSC is the best one....at least visually. Unless someone wants to point me in the direction of a better one. Or i can look at the R2 section (im assuming there is one) don't want to take this thread deeper out of the topic. Congrats again fett42:hi5:

Maybe a little futzing.

Hello to all
just started collecting starwars hottoys received my collectors pack a few weeks ago of han and chewie and they look great cant wait for my other preorders to come wish id have preordered stomtrooper 2 pack ex but waited too long

it's funny but am I the only one that liked the old han head better from the initial teaser image release? Something is weird about this guys face. lol

if you think about it.. everyone worried about chewie and he turned out nice. everyone was content with the second han head... and he came out as it looked in the photos... but kind of disappointing looking. He's not making a "han" face.. he's making a "duhhr I'm reading my facebook wall" face. That han face with the smirk shown in the display... hopefully we get that head with the stormtrooper and I'll be throwing that head on this figure.

I'd say it was divided, with many people preferring the first head and some people not liking either - I can't remember if there were any people that liked both. With photos of the in-hand figure, I don't think there are any surprises. It looks precisely like it did in JC Hong's first photos of the updated sculpt and as it was displayed at shows.

yeah we definitely got what was shown in the end. He seems to display ok straight on, there's just no life to him. He looks bored to be a space smuggler.

Yeah, the smirking face is a weird one - they show it but don't announce it.

Hopefully by year's end we'll see HT Bespin Han and Han stormie - two more shots at HF that might be closer to bullseyes than the regular ANH.

This one actually came out okay in terms of likeness but he's definitely bored/dead looking.

I dont think anyone's posted pics with sideshow cantina enviroment and greedo n hot toys Han yet unlesss i missed it. Please put on to do anyone who has these all please post pics thank's.

:lol

Repped for recognizing Ho-hum Harrison. :duff

It's probably just as well we got Ep VII now because if they'd done it mid to late 90's, HF probably would have said no to bringing back Han. That was back when he had a red-hot career and no AARP card.

But then again, Mark Hamill would have been gearing up for his directing debut with "The Black Pearl" (later known as curse of "The Black Pearl") so maybe he would have said no too... but would have really, really regretted it.:lol

But hey... if it'd been made in the mid 90's, Luke and Han could have been the main characters, not the seniors handing off the mantle to some TV actors.
