I was curious what this would look like. Imagine him with shorter hair, no sideburns and a five o' clock shadow...
Not too hard to do:

Up until I sell the head sculpt from the Solo I ordered, the sculpt is perfect, HT nailed it. After that, all bets are off and the truth can flow freely.

There is absolutely, positively no resemblance to HF as Indy there. Like negative 10%.:lol Very weird. And take that hat off right now.

I was 11 years old when Raiders came out and I had the movie "story book" of Raiders and the "story books" from both A New Hope and Empire that had photos from all these movies. I remember my dad pointing to a photo of Indiana Jones in my book and telling me it was Han Solo and having a hard time believing it. As I looked at the pictures as an 11 year old gradually I began to accept it was the same guy but Han Solo and Indiana Jones seemed so completely different to me (despite being both played by Ford with many of his typical mannerisms) that even today they don't seem like the same guy. Of course, they are different characters and Harrison was doing his job as an actor to create different characters despite the fact that both Indiana and Han Solo, and every other charterer Ford plays likes to point his finger a lot. The 5 O'clock shadow and shorter hair on Indy compared to the longer hair on Han also made a big difference combined with such radically different environments the 1940s are to a galaxy far far away. I also think that Harrison himself looks a little different in ANH than he does in Empire; and Raiders was shot just before Empire Strikes back. I am not sure what it is (a slight difference in weight when he was younger?) but the younger episode 4 Han Solo looks less like Indiana Jones than Harrison does in Empire or Jedi. So maybe, even if you were able to give the Hot Toys Han shorter hair and 5 O'clock shadow it still wouldn't look exactly right no matter how close the sculpt may be to Harrison during that time of his life because Harrison here is younger than he ever was as Indy.

Of course this isn't the first time someone tried to use a Han Solo head for Indiana Jones...

Yeah, it's the hair, the hat, weight and the stubble but also the lighting, color palette and outdoor/indoor settings (also sweaty/grimy) between ROTLA and ANH are totally opposite.

That being said, check out the UU ROTJ Han transformed into custom ROTLA Indy and you realize that yep - HF is under there... unless he isn't. Someone also took a SSC Indy head and did a pretty great ANH Han. Can't see the reverse happening here, but who knows?

Hair and stubble length, tan vs. pale, sweat/grime vs. clean, indoor vs. outdoor, warm vs. cool palette - but you can tell your 11 year old self yep, it's the same guy...

Yeah it's still striking to me just how incredibly different he looks in the two movies, and how much of a difference a hairstyle and costume can really make. He even somehow looks younger in Raiders than in ANH, even though it came out three years later.
