C'mon HT! Get it right!

I think the Ford likeness is okay but could definitely be improved a lot. I'm still preordering though since I have little doubt the final product won't turn out better.

I feel an eventual lock coming on like the DX05 thread. :lol
Nah, I think that'll happen in the Hoth Luke and Han threads once in-hand pics come out, though. :lol The more I see the comparison photos, the more I can't stand how SSC sculpted Han's hair. It looks atrocious.

In regards to HT's Han, I have to agree a bit with the "generically handsome" comment. I can see that. I do wish I was gobsmacked by the likeness, like I was w/the Mandarin or the DX13. I understand a-dev's comments, too, but overall I'd have to agree with Pop... The protos seem just a little bit half-baked. Much as I love the idea of Han and Chewie, I'd be OK missing this release and seeing what happens w/ESB. I don't have room for both ANH and ESB Han and Chewie, so it's got to be one or the other, and I hate selling this stuff after I've bought it. Would rather make do with pics from now on, than buy and sell later on down the road.

That is the face of Harrison ford the thing that's off is the hair

Even the release of luke in bespin I thought the color was way dark, kind of makes me repaint him blonder

I don't think the Bespin Luke was that good either. The eyes and the face in general doesn't look great, imo. Maybe it's the hair...but I've never been a fan of that figure. They only good thing about it was that it came with a two figure set, and a great display base with lights.

No - I think this shows the likeness is there. The hair maybe needs to be lighter.

It's a sort-of-okay likeness in the context of those pics, but put this head on a generic suit body and I'm not sure people would pick it as HF/Han though.

Even as bad as the apps are on the older SSC Han, its quickly identifiable as HF/Han even on a generic body.

Also, Han in SW had such attitude/swagger it was a part of his character and this HT sculpt is so bland expression-wise.

I certainly think this is a better HF than the HT Indy, but it's still underwhelming (a word which doesn't go very well with "$230")

HT decided to go with a neutral expression.

Ham Solo on the left. :lol
