Inigo sculpted a Han trying on some old clothes he found in a forgotten locker on the Falcon.

It would be ironic if HT, having paid for a license, recast an unlicensed custom sculpt. The fallout would be popcorn worthy. :lol

Yeah can't say I'm a huge fan of that sculpt, despite some great likeness in there. It's a major dose of HF for sure :)clap) but... with some attributes of a very determined Victorian-era woman mixed in. Maybe it's just the straight-on angle - might be better with just a slight turn.

The V1 Indy I think captured HF better and I really hope Ingiou does a V2 Han and others - he/she captures HF's face really well overall.

I don't think the HT sculpt is bad but it is a bit boring. I'd like to see a slight smirk or a slight sneer, something that would convey the wise ass nature of his character.

After seeing Leia and the new Nick Fury, I don't want to settle for less. It's either wow I have to have it or easy pass.

And with a character like Han we should hopefully be getting another few versions in the next few years - there are variations in his hair, but it's not that great that you couldn't use a great ESB sculpt for ANH.

I still think this is an improvement over the V1, but it does seem to work a lot better for Indy than it does for Han for some reason. He looks about 10 years older than he should be here, and the hair just doesn't look right at all.

And it actually shares something with the HT Han in that the mouth is far too straight and not crooked enough. And for me those crooked features are an absolute must for a great Ford likeness.

Ah I know what you mean regarding the slight smirk or the slight sneer on the sculpt to capture and reflect Han's wise ass nature, but I actually think a subtle smirk still wouldn't do the trick.

When I think of a sculpt having a subtle smirk, I think the sculpt on the current Ant-Man figure captured that perfectly to fit Paul Rudd's brand of humor and being a wise ass. I think Han's wise ass nature was more brash though. He never really smirked when delivering his snarky lines. Perhaps a sneer like you mentioned, but I actually don't really have an issue with the expression on this sculpt. He almost seems like he has the same expression when he told Greedo, "Over my dead body."

lol @ victorian woman.

A pissed-off Victorian woman of the suffrage movement... :lecture "we women-folk will soon rise up against the tyranny of brutes we are married to, who do not leave enough prune juice for us to help expel our backed-up bodily constitution!" :lecture

The more I look at good shots of the HT Han sculpt, the more I think it's mainly the hair throwing it off. Better hair could do wonders for this sculpt.

Something about the paint apps too, because that Jazz repaint was stunning (though he did some very minor resculpting using a needle to add texture.)

Wow, just checked out that Jazz repaint for the first time and damn, it really IS impressive! Makes the HT paint suddenly look incredibly simple and basic in comparison. I'm usually pretty impressed by their paintjobs, but it's clear now that this is a sculpt that needed a bit more help in order to bring the likeness out.

I opened up my Han. Are the boots supposed to be like this?

Yes - they're all like that. Try a small curved piece of cardboard inserted - doesn't fix, but can help a lot. Appears to be a pattern error - the Leia and Ben boots don't share that problem.
