Yeah, I should hopefully be getting my official Tony Meis cape very soon. Still haven't received my notice from SSC that Batman Returns is imminent, but once I get that Meis cape, Batman will just be the cherry on top. Let's be honest, the Meis cape is the main attraction.

I'm not even buying the Batman figure. I'm just going to hang Tony's cape from a 1/6 display stand. The figure would only distract from the cape.

Same effect as getting a cape that is essentially made from Walmart cheap fabric.

Just be patient Difabio and Franpincho, when SSC starts cranking the orders out and people will start receiving them there will be more pics and more love for the stock cape for those who aren't into custom capes because the stock cape is so much better than the DX09 stock cape.

Discussions will return to love for the figures only naturally

I'm not even upset about the Tony Mei capes or people talking about them. I own them and I like Tony and Crystal's work.

Batman is well Batman. The cowl is just superb. I've been looking at the Keaton sculpt a bit, looking for likeness. I'm still pretty happy I got the two pack despite it's shortcomings (brazilian waiter?).

Stunning shots Rory! Batman looks amazing, Wayne.....well, your lighting shows the sculpt to be nicely detailed. Only a similarity to Keaton though rather than a dead-on likeness.

thanks, yeah there is a bit of Keaton DNA in there just mixed up with some random very tanned guy. I still like it on display with Batty though, I have one of those custom heads somewhere must dig it out and see if it's better.

Nice shots Rory, your Batman looks fantastic. Have you tried the torn cowl look at all?

Bruce Wayne, I dunno. I want to see someone try and replicate the same angled and lit pictures JC Hong did for that one prototype to see how they stack up from the same perspective (even though we already know the final production head is disappointing). Problem with that is, only seems like a handful of people are getting the set.

Having the dx09 I was on the fence about this guy... your shot plus a few previous shots have me convinced... I'll be getting this guy, too!

I have plans to fabricate his glider, too...

Yeah, the Keaton sculpt isn't a patch on that and ironically is at its worst straight on like those proto pics from JC.
The torn cowl is very nice. I will try a post a pic or two tomorrow.

I'm noticing that most pics being posted have the lower belt mod Tony had.. Still debating whether I should do it as well since it does look better, especially with his cape

But so I finally got in touch with someone at SS earlier today, and sadly they told me that the 2-Pack may not be able to have the pack out option included since the box might be too big.. How could they have overlooked that?? I would hate to buy this expensive set and have it arrive at my door with a broken box. They said they wouldn't know for sure until they actually receive it themselves but that I would have to contact them again directly just to find out. Also, they have no idea when they will be receiving the 2-pack yet so it appears the waiting game is still on for me
