No its his 89 cape but same concept from the looks of it....(creating the folds and what not)

To anyone that has both the 89 and Returns Batman, how does the Returns Stock Cape look on the 89 Bats? I'm thinking about ordering a Returns cape from Tony and am wondering if I could then use the better Returns cape on the 89? The Stock Cape on my DX09 always looked a little off to me, no matter how much futzing I do

It's only weeks until I get this set, and this thread is nothing but custom this, Mei that, Mei this. Incredible how it's gone downhill like that. Isn't there a custom section where you all can talk about how you love to pay for those things?

I contacted Tony Mei..I was sent to his Returns cape Facebook page, but couldn't find the ordering link. I'm logged on (although I don't social network at all) but just see the 'like, comment, share and write a comment' areas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just email Tony Mei at his email address on the previous page and he'll get back to you in no time. His email will provide you with all the info you need to get whatever cape you want. I've bought countless capes from him and the product and process is A-one.

When a figure has a cape...that cape becomes a focal point...it can make or break a figure.
A well made cape can completely change a figure.
Sometimes, the stock capes are actually nice...like this stock BR cape...but still an option is there to even elevate it to another level.
Its nice to have these options.
And when I see a night and day difference they make, they're worth it.

why you got to sound so negative dude?we are all collectors here and talking about the same figure in this particular section.And if you have such a huge problem with us members talking about how this figure can look better or do things to improve on it then please go find a moderator and tell him/her to do something about it.And do yourself a favor when the BvS movie figures come out I can almost guarantee that there will be some custom talks of it as well.you made a similar comment a several pages back you got a few people pissed off and you even said you gonna stay off that matter.and here you are again running your negative mouth.we dont need that here

I'm not buying any bvs crap.

And this thread is about the Returns figure, not the custom cape. So, I'm not going anywhere, thank you very much. You have a right to talk customs and even making videos of it all you want, and I can ridicule that as I see fit. Not everyone is going to dig what you like, fact of life. Specially when repeated over and over.

..speaking of Tony Mei and custom capes (cause I can't get enough talk about that stuff in this forum), they sure are nifty lookin! I'm not really into the figure; just bring on the Mei cape. I'll display it around my left thumb.
