Yep, I see some Keaton likeness there. Maybe with the right lighting there is hope. And that display with the two Waynes, two Batmobiles is killer. What I wouldn't do to have a cabinet like that to display my HT Batmobiles in. I would take them out of storage yesterday.

I wish I would have gotten a re-release tumbler when I had the chance. I had this batman since it came out, but never opened it until I got my batmobile out of storage, but in all reality, is it safe to say that the dx line is officially dead? The amount of stuff they fit in the box is amazing. I can honestly say that after watching batman returns last night, I feel that Bruce's hair should have been a bit lighter.

Batman is well Batman. The cowl is just superb. I've been looking at the Keaton sculpt a bit, looking for likeness. I'm still pretty happy I got the two pack despite it's shortcomings (brazilian waiter?).

Thinking about retiring from HT on this figure boys and girls and i actually think I mean it this time. Came into all of this with BR Joker back in the day and didn't expect to stay long but you all know how that goes. Twas looking over the collection and it feels good man. I have just about every character that I can think of represented other than a few I doubt HT will ever do. (Rambo, Alien, More Burton Bats, More 66 Bats, More Terminator, the classics etc.)

Checked on my reward points today and if I apply them to this figure it will cost about the same price that BRJ did. Seems like 'poetry' as uncle George would say...to apply them and go out where it all began with a Batman figure.

Yup, i'm doing it.

Know where your coming from pal, I started this in 2008 with batman begins mms67. I'd never seen a figure like it, got it straight from Hong Kong via eBay, waited 2weeks for it & promptly snapped the left hand off leaving the peg in the arm!
There was no where near as much knowledge about them back then as there is now so I ordered another.
Still have the two of them today&i actually prefer the 1st one I broke cos I went on to fearlessly modify it as-why not?
Since then Iv had loads but always sell the majority off. My collection is now predominantly batman-
2 - begins ( 1modded )
1 - dx 12 modded with armory sculpt
1 - armory batman
1 - bank robber joker v2.0
1 - tumbler
3 - batman returns
1 - 1989 batmobile
Plus
Classic predator
Man of steel superman
Terminator 2 dx 13
Star Wars stormtrooper force awakens

I'm not saying I'm out yet, but I think after bvs regular batfleck il be seriously thinking about it

It's getting hard to justify the prices now, but I still love goin into my collection room and looking at them

Not to get off topic of the figure itself but if anyone is wondering why Hot Toys isn't making/didn't make a glider... I mocked one up because I thought about making one for myself or for others... I took measurements from the reference photo and scaled them up to 1/6... This thing is huge. 31 inches across...

They coulda done it, separete pieces and such.


Very cool what you're doing, only a simple mock up and I can see it's potential.
