It's noticeable, but they've all came out the box like that.
Iv no problem with it, it's a tiny difference that you wouldn't notice unless you had 2 side by side.
It's not any deterioration.
It doesn't sweat, leak oil or flake.
Who's gonna get 2 anyway [emoji6]

I just missed out on goin to see batman when I was 8, I was a massive batman fan then already with the comics.I watched the vhs of batman pretty much everyday.
As soon as returns came out I was there, musta watched it 6 times at the cinema.
Pretty iconic moment in my childhood & really set my love for cinema & batman.

That's the way they came out from the new wave out there, same effect can be achieved using the those car leather spray or wipes.

Got my Jaxon cape and it's pretty sweet! Zero futzing required!

Im a huge fan of batman keaton but this was a pass. I likeness of keaton is not there, and I can't stand no head movement of cowel, and 2 d*ck sucking mouth pieces. Huge let down.

Well... Keaton couldn't exactly move his head in the movie, either.

I was reading the returns doesnt fit in the 89 car. I think if thats true maybe throw the Bruce Wayne figure in the 89 ride with the ripped cowl on in the car ,since only see top half could work. Love to see pics of this idea if have the car and this set please , thank's.

The stiff cowl is screen accurate. The other stiffy you're imagining is kinda creepy. While I understand why this was a pass for you, I'm sure it wasn't an easy pass... it was probably... "hard."

Sweet! I nabbed mine here on the forum shipped for less than retail. Keep an eye out.
About the faceplates; I really wish we could've gotten that mischievous grin or angry teeth or something. Mine is displayed with a speaking mouthpiece; as if he's Dr. Evil saying, "Why must I be surrounded by frickin' idiots?"

Yep, from day one. Initially I thought it had to be a mistake by Hot Toys to include 2 pics of the same mouth and advertise them as 'alternate'. They're useless and they make him look more like Val Kilmer if anyone.

Just opened this up today. A little buyer's remorse for the getting the double-pack with Keaton/Wayne. I had hoped his head sculpt would look better in-hand, but nope. I can only hope maybe there will be a custom sculpt available someday that does Keaton justice. Until then, Tuxedo Wayne will stay firmly in the box with the torn cowl.

As for Batman himself, I love the cowl. After putting him in my detolf it's amazing how much sharper and sleeker it looks compared to the '89. The rubber suit though on mine is frustrating. I'm not sure if others are experiencing this, but if I put his torso in anything other than a straight-as-an-arrow pose, the ab section sticks out and looks terrible. I noticed before I even took him out of the box his gut was popping out. I wanted to put a slight bend in the torso, but that suit is not having any of it. I'm not sure if mine is looser in that area than normal. I'm tempted to contact SSC to see if I can get a replacement body, but I don't know if it will be any better. And then I risk having problems in other areas.

Great looking figure though, and no other major issues with mine. Bring on the Cat and the Penguin.

It's loose, don't worry about it, you get used to it. At first I thought the batman returns suit was made out of harder rubber, since the promo shots showed it that way, but once in hand, it's way softer than the 89 batman. But doesn't matter, in your pictures it looks fine, even from a distance...
