Does anyone know if Sideshow will replace a face plate that came defective? lol Also, one of my gauntlet spikes was broken, do they replace those too? Or is my only option super-gluing it?

A little dab of Loctite Gel super glue. Good as new, if not better.

Usually they will replace it. But it's a case by case thing. Take a photo and send it along with a request.

Question: What would people recommend?

I have a choice to buy either the HT Batman Returns Bats or the HT Arkham City Bats. I know some think this is a question of apples and oranges, but indulge me here. Both are beautiful, high quality figures (of that there is no question), but try to answer without recourse to source material (i.e. disregard personal taste as to the respective merits of Batman Returns as a movie or Batman: Arkham City as a video game).

If you HAD to own ONLY ONE of these figures - which one would it be?

This is the Batman Returns thread, I don't think you'll get anyone recommending AC bats.

If anyone is interested in a Tony Mei 1.0 Returns cape, let me know. I recently received my order, but it ended up being the final version (just like the final 89' cape). It doesn't have the folded in front edge and that real leather look. So I was able to get one of the last two 1st version Returns capes he had. I just lost my job, so now I really need to sell it. So if anyone is interested, please PM me.

As much I love the Arkham games, I prefer the returns

I have the 1966 version but too lazy to pull it out, even all the other half of my DC collection... But still I need to save up for the tumbler, begins suit, and maybe hope that I we ever see the panther suit and the Batman and Robin version...

Hopefully Batman vs Superman Hypes hot toys into making DC related figs... Putting up the armory made me realize that maybe one day we could see the batman returns armory or 1989 bar computer [emoji16]

Good luck finding a new job, brother. I sometimes have fears of falling on hard times and having to sell my collection. It would be very difficult, but at the end of the day, these are non-essential luxury items that we are lucky to be able to have, but there are far more important things in life.

Cracked him open tonight. I'm into the batman it's solid, nice detail the chunk in his head is better than dx09, poses easier than dx09. It's a real winner if you ask me. Cape is better but I still got Tony's on the way. You can't beat Tony.

It's just the Wayne that sucks balls. Like in a big way, been awhile since I thought a hot toy totally sucks. Aweful likeness and a frumpy suit. Ugh.

I am hopeful Hot toys chose the suit just because it would match the masquerade ball with none other than Selina Kyle, than to match him up with the suit and black sweater he was wearing in the iconic bat signal scene. One can wish.
