Looks better with this paintjob but sadly the whole batmobile is still very inaccurate.

I had to sell my Keaton 1.0, so I'm happy to see this... but I can't justify the price, because I have no interest in the unmasked Wayne figure. Not only does the sculpt look terrible, but I think they just included it so they could jack the price way up. Too bad, pass.

The earlier DX's just meant PERS and sometimes a nicer stand/dio.
PERS has also ruined a few figures because of having to squeeze the eye box into the head and cutting out deep holes in the sculpt.

this one has "separate rolling eyeballs", which probably means two little sticks to control the eyes, instead of just one. So still the same problem with eyes beeing too deep in the head. Although for these Batman-figures that shouldn't be a problem since the eyes are somewhat behind the mask anyway.

I think the pricepoint is very, very good news. The tendency with Hot Toys figures was that the price was slowly increasing, culminating with the price for Darth Vader figure.

Don't know why but I feel the Batman Returns figure is a turning point for Hot Toys. The way I see it:
1) we're getting a very nice Batman figure with separate rolling eye system (practically better than PERS)
2) this is an affordable figure so that'll do good in sales numbers, they might reconsider doing Catwoman or Penguin in the future
3) I think the package will be chaper than that one of the DX's in the past but who cares, if that makes the total price of the figure lower

In short: because of the reasonable price point I think they'll have a hit with this one and sales will make them reconsider the decision of adding more characters from this license.

Posting again because of how off it looks. Surprised that sculpt even got approved.

The Good:
The Batman figure looks great... pretty much spot on.

The Bad:
The Keaton sculpt is abysmal.

You'll need jeans too... I can't remember which type of shoes he used in that scene.

Maybe it's not 100% accurate but it's a freaking awesome piece and the only one at this scale.
Even the 2K Toynami is not 100% accurate. Both have their flaws and qualities.
It would do a great display with this returns batman!

After promotional pics???? I can't remember this, to be honest.
Really hope you're right, because this hs is a mess. Ace toyz and Iminime are far superior.

Didn't they also tweak the hot toys 1/4 batman after promo pics as well? Because the mask scukpt was much better in person and the bruce scukpt looked slightly tweaked.

The big problem with hot toys is their graphics department sucks and they over shadow the pic on a lot of their pics so think that kills the likeness. In the end me personally never was disappointed in a hot toys h/s so that's why I would buy the combo set. However I do fear the shotty suit work like own Alfred.

Those shots above look much better than the promo pics because he doesn't look like he's wearing blush and heavy lipstick now.

Bats looks great! Keats not so much. I think that ACE Keaton sculpt from a couple years ago is better. Anyway, are they not using the DX monicker anymore? Also, I've noticed the single Batman figure is cheaper than the '89 figure by a few bucks.

I'll buy the cape, and maybe the mouth pieces if they can be modified for the '89. Nothing else.

Happy for everyone that has been waiting SO long for Returns Batman.

Sorry for everyone that wanted an unmasked Keaton head. There is no way to defend that. It's atrocious. And I feel bad for anyone that convinces themself to shell out several hundred dollars for such an awful looking toy.

Just buy the single Batman guys....send a message to Hot Toys that you're not gonna support garbage.
