I'm with you on the suit but Ioved the film, really nostalgic & the last of its kind I think. I was born in 81 & batman was such a big deal for me, I'd read the comics then when it came out I was too young to go see it at the cinema but when batman returns came out I was front in line. Thats why its my favourite

I'm with you! Same experience, except my parents did take me to the theater to see the first Tim Burton Batman film, and I loved it! Although, I was terrified they'd get shot in the alley as we left the movie theater. Lol
I saw Batman Returns at least three times at the theater though! It was a great excuse to get them to drop my friends and I off at the comic book shop next to the theater too. I collected all of the figures and vehicles from both films, but these Hot Toys figs are the real gems!

I haven't bought any collectible or toy crap in months and have avoided this hobby like the plague, especially with this flood of Star Wars merchandise from everyone. Feels awesome. It's like been there, done that. I'm still getting this though. It's going to be my last Hot Toys purchase. I'm going to savor the release and have fun with it, whether it's out next month, in December or next year. I don't give a ****. I waited too long to just simply pass up on this, it's never too late. Love Keaton, love the Returns suit and it'll fit in with my Batmobile, '89 Bats and Jokers.

Sucks about Penguin and Catwoman, but I'll get over it. Other companies have filled that void. I'm at this point now where the thought of some dream/fantasy material possession is a lot better in my head than actually owning some companies rendition of it. I've basically gotten everything I wanted anyway. Besides, once I get any of the things I've amassed they sit around and take up space and I'm onto the next thing. What's the point.


I'm going to relish the final stage of this figure, from the hot off the press blog pics to the reviews to actually opening that Hot Toys mailer and messing with this figure myself. I welcome any surprises (improved Keaton likeness), as long as the product is free of any QC issues. I'm excited. Bring it on.

It feels good, doesn't it?

The whole "not collecting anymore". I got rid of about 95% of the Dollie collection, and it truly feels great. It wasn't about space, or not having money. It was about principle.

I started thinking about all the things I could be doing with the money I was spending on these things, and I felt sick.

Of course I still enjoy seeing other people's collections, and trolling marvel crybabies.

Anyhow, it's good to have you back.

Every hobby is expensive. If you're sick at the thought of having 1/6 scale figures, this isn't the hobby for you.
