It's been confirmed by pretty much all sources that dead is dead in this scenario...I'm also PRETTY sure we can stop using spoiler tags now, right? I mean, hasn't it been released everywhere? And I mean, if you can't put two and two together by, "It was sad at the end," "I teared up," and "Yeah it was sad, I liked that quick little bugger," then you probably still won't understand if it's spelled completely out.

So did I! I'd heard the rumours but didn't think they'd kill him off in such a short timeframe after introducing him

Looks like this will be the only version we will get especially as 'dead is dead' in this case. Was getting him regardless but it's still a damn shame.
