Thanks guys :lol

Does anyone know if his hair is a separate piece that could be removable by breaking some glue?

I bit on one of the last ones. I really was hoping he would last until Spooktacular and I would get a crazy deal on this guy.

I didn't think he was worth the price they were asking.

Yeah, that's ultimately how I feel about him, too.

I wanted him to go with Wanda and I enjoyed ATJ in the role.... But when I had to cut stuff late last year, he was one of the first off the list, no hesitation. I could get over the barebones aspect of him if I were crazy over the character or if he were half the cost. As it is, I ended up not being able to justify him.

Just got this brand new from a member for $155 shipped. So excited cause I couldn't justify the full price either and he seems to be sold out now on Sideshow.

I passed on this version of quicksilver because i liked the portrayal of the character in x-men days of future past/Apocalypse way better. Still holding out hope we will get that version at some point, Pink Floyd shirt and all

Search SooSooToys on Facebook... They've just announced an Evan Peters X-Men Quicksilver if you are keen to have a look... The sculpt is good, if just slightly off, but the outfit is aight!

I actually thought that this would be limited figure that would sell out fast because they wouldn't manufacture a heap... Obviously they'll never make another one, so I foolishly bought it on pre order at the now (in hindsight) ridiculous retail price...

Ah, well it goes both ways to me.

Sure, you can wait and see. But sometimes, that also bites you in the ass. To me, if you're certain from the beginning that you want to have a particular figure in your collection, get it at retail and have no regrets.

Ones that I would like to potentially have but aren't necessarily worth retail to me to have in my collection, are the ones that I'll play the waiting game on. If I can snare it at a good price later on, then I'll get it. If it raises in price, no big deal because I didn't want it THAT badly to begin with.

Yup, look at BvS Batman now. Pre-order sold out EVERYWHERE.
