I can't speak about their pricing because I don't have anything to do with that. But as a Star Wars helmet collector, I like the incentive of early bird pricing. Star Wars helmet prices are just what it is and if I could save money by PO'ing early, I have no problem doing it. And like you said, they'll sell out anyway, so what difference does it make? The difference is I'll have an extra $150:lol

Anyway, if you were able to early bird PO their Kylo Ren helmet, it's pretty much comparable for what you'd pay for a custom one anyway, so you might as well go licensed. If someone hesitated and they're stuck paying the MSRP of $700 now, that just sucks for them.

Right I don't have a problem with them doing that. But that tells you the kind of markup they put on these things when they can initially sell them for that much less initially.

After watching the film I really feel like this should have had a Driver sculpt as he took off the helmet quite a bit. Still wish he would have had the melted Vader helmet too. I'll probably still get the figure though eventually.

Yeah placed my order last night after waiting to view the movie. I didn't know i'd like this guy this much!

He looks like i always envisioned a
Solo/Skywalker offspring to look like

From certain angles, the resemblance is uncanny. It was actually a good casting choice (for many reasons).

Just got back from my screening.....the entire family had fun and I loved it. One or two scenes I wasn't completely over joyed with but hey, it was a great ride! Well worth the wait , and blows away PT and even ROTJ.

Now my top ten unresolved plot points!!!

1. How did Luke saber get where it was?
2. What turned Kylo (daddy issues absent father?) was he mentally ill?
3. Who is Rey's Dad? Luke?
4. Is that really the end of Captain Solo?
5. Does Rey really know more? Forgot more? Who was she waiting for on Jakku?
6. Snoke? How did he meet Kylo?
7. Were those Vaders ashes Kylo dropped hiss mask in???
8. Did Luke feel Han die like Leia?
9. Was the Falcon really there by coincidence?
10. Is Finn's injury and Kylos injury very serious?

Your thoughts?

I loved Kylo until
he got his butt handed to him by someone who had never been trained to use the force. Seriously, that was my main beef with the movie. Rey had no training in the force yet she was using mind control and beating someone in a light saber fight who had trained for years.
He was still cool though.

to be fair, he got shot by Chewie's blaster right in the gut moments before. And you've seen how much damage that thing did to regular Stormtroopers

Yeah he was bleeding the whole time and still almost killed Finn. He would've beat Rey if Chewie wasn't so damn accurate lol. Kylo Ren will be so powerful now that he can complete his dark side training under Snoke. He might even have a stable lightsaber in episode VIII.

Well going now to my 2nd viewing for both of us with my 13year old daughter to the late show. (This time recliner seating :))

Kylo got blasted and still held up. It's obvious Rey is really powerful with the force.

We still have many movies to go lol.

All of these interviews have been telling us he is still raw. And I think Snoke was waiting for him to pass his test.

But either way he clearly has very strong ability. He's just not focused. For reasons answered in the movie.

**** it. Just pre-ordered. I wouldn't mind getting a few from the film as I really enjoyed it. And how can you not have the villain? Hope SS ships soon.

Let's also not forget that for the whole film he was "tempted by the light side," he obviously has a twisted history of who is grandfather was and is trying to deny his pull towards the "light." It was a neat little plot twist to what we've seen before. Rey is obviously strong in the light and it was freaking him out, that on top of having been shot dead on and having gone through a fight with Finn and having dealt with the fact the guy just killed his dad to try and be more dark, he was dealing with a lot, Lol.

The Visual Dictionary contradicts this. Kylo Ren knows Darth Vader turned to the light and in the book it mentions he knows Vader's sentimentality for Luke was his downfall. So he is fully aware. He has just been corrupted into thinking That was Vader failing his mission.

You guys just need a bunch of excuses as to why he got his arse kicked by Rey, who has ZERO training with the Force lol.

If it hadn't been for the planet being torn apart, Rey could have just finished Ren off right there and then. Kylo knew she was getting stronger with the Force and he tried to turn her, but she tuned into the Force and was able to get the better of him. If Rey is already that powerful with no training, she's going to be a formidable opponent to him when they meet again.
