I love this figure! I might even end up grabbing a second one eventually lol... because I like having him displayed both with the hood down with TFA Rey, but would be cool to have another to put with some stormtroopers or darkside display with the hood up.
If anyone is looking for a Kylo there's an eBay seller that has one listed for $99. With the coupon from today that's around $85 bucks shipped. Seller is in china so... who knows. But can always just get money back if it's ********.

Kinda crazy that I just got an email from Sideshow that both this figure AND the Jyn Erso Deluxe figures are converting from my waitlist reservations and are going to be filled!! Wow, they’re long sold out!

This was around forever though. I wouldn’t be surprised if they still have a stockpile of them they found in their warehouse someplace. Jyn is more surprising as she seems to have sold out faster.

I’m pretty excited! I love this figure and got beat out of a scammer on EBay a while ago. Pleasantly suprised for sure but with all these releases HotToys is killing me the past two months! Lol

congrats, it really is a great figure! It must have been really overproduced, that and peoples apparent hate for the PT I think are the only reasons this one still pretty much available at or below retail. I think that Jyn is the more the rare score honestly, and it looks to be a fantastic figure as well.

Jyn is a great figure, one of my favorites actually. Especially with the deluxe version there’s a lot of looks you can give her to change the pose up now and again.
The only reason I passed on this Kylo is I don’t really view it as a definitive release. Ideally this would have came with two sculpts (one with helmet, one without) and something like the melted Vader helmet or something and a diorama base (even if they had done a snowy base to look like the Starkiller Base or something).

With the TLJ version starting to appear in release, I thought I'd revisit this version...
It is a very solid figure. Preliminary judging of the new version against this one (based on the early photos and videos popping up online)...I'm still giving this one the edge. With it's great textures and fabric weights, one get get some great attitude out of the figure for display.
I'm seeing some scale-betraying issues with some of the choices that were made on the new version (the drainage pipe textured sleeves, the heavy stitched upholstery-covering top) that may not be so apparent "in hand" with some futzing.
We'll see...but I'm glad I got this version of the character...

Ah, the proverbial “I still love this guy” pictures of the previous version of a figure, whenever a new version releases. 
Excellent pics though! I still like this one better as well. Other factors aside, it’s just by far my favorite look for Kylo Ren and the look that I think will be most associated with him; that alone makes this one the clear choice for me.

I definitely prefer the character's look in TFA, but the outfit always seems too bulky to me on the figure and I find myself liking the look of the TLJ one a bit more now. Especially with all those cool throne room action poses you can put him in.

Dave - yes, yes - Can't help it, always gotta look at the last one when the new one hits. I've got the TLJ version on order too. I'm just not 100% sold on how the TLJ look was rendered for the figure yet. But knowing me, once it shows up, I'll end up being as pleased with how I can get it to display and snap shots of as I am this version.

Sorry to bump this thread - especially as my first post here - but I was at a local collectibles store today, and was shocked to see this figure with all accessories for $95, and the whole store was 20% off, which made the figure only around $75. The only thing it was missing was its box. It felt like a hell of a deal, so I got it - but was I right? Was that a steal?

^ Congrats! I'd say it was a great deal. I wish I could find a deal like that! It's a great figure, and whilst some might not be keen on an unboxed figure, it wouldn't bother me one bit - one less box to find storage space for!
Yeah I think any HT figure you can find for under $100 is a great deal.

Considering these are generally $200+, yeah, I’d say you did.
I recall the person who got my MoS Superman as a Christmas gift for me scored it brand new in the box for $50 in an auction on eBay. This was when he wasn’t selling and you could get him for cheap.
Something that I find kind of cool about Kylo and his figures is that each costume portrays a specific point for his character in terms of arc and his mentality.
I think they both have their own presence on the shelf, and that they can compliment each other.
Not sure if I'll pick up TLJ Kylo frankly for space and budgeting, but I've definitely been considering it seeing all the new pics. TFA Kylo is my favorite of my 12 Hot Toys though. It was my first and got me into 1/6.
