Wow, nice work. Took me a second to realize that it wasn't the TLJ sculpt!

I think the expression on TLJ sculpt better suits this figure, but I think TFA sculpt as a whole bears a better likeness. The face on TLJ sculpt seems slightly too thin to me.

Thanks fellas! Yeah i see where they were going with that last jedi sculpt, they just didnt quite hit the mark. While i still like the sculpt, i love this combo better

Thanks tonton. I heated up the jedi sculpt and peeled off her back hair and pony tail. Cut a chunk out of the awakens head and glued the pony tail on and did some cutting to match up the 2 pieces.

Great work. Looks really seamless. I would probably call it a face transplant, even though as you said, it was really the hair that was transplanted.

Looks way better. Wish they released it with the old head sculpt and just new hairstyle. Well done. Don’t have the courage to try and pull that off.

Awesome job!! As a customizer myself too, I just can't tell you how great it turned out! That was one of the reasons why I didn't fully buy the TLJ figure and I went for parts of the original HT and created mine. I painted first version head a while back and last week I finished an improved second version. Now I am painting a third version. I wished HT kept a resemblance to the TFA sculpt which I love (I have both Jakku and Resistance Outfit), but improved. For me, the TLJ HS was just a step back. I respect those who love it!!! This is all about preference and loving what you see. Nobody must have the same taste!!!

Personally that image still looks a bit fishy to me, well a lot of them do honestly. The Kylo and Rey images look a lot more like costume tests from The Force Awakens than 9.

Same here. That doesn't look legit. Besides, if that image were real... I would be truly disappointed with the lack of creativity in the evolution of Rey and Kylo outfits (non evolution whatsoever in the pics).

Then the creative team and JJ are decided to kill the saga aesthetically also. Great. I was hoping for a great look for Rey and I am not digging the leaked one...

Just because they’re legit doesn’t mean they’re the only costumes worn in the film . I’d hold off on such a harsh judgement this early. Plus it’s a blurry pic and you have no context on what you are looking at.

I agree that image doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the only outfit each character will wear in the film, but while the image is for sure pixelated, I do think it’s clear enough to be able to make out what each character appears to be wearing, and to be able to form a first impression as to whether you like it or not. I mean it’s pretty demonstrable that Kylo is wearing the helmet with his TLJ outfit, for instance.

Wow!! Wonderful. So, you can give a piece of advice to Kathelen and JJ on my behalf? Be more creative and more passionate about the suits!! Evolution!! Innovation. I think they are quiteyou stuck in the designing department or both have no understanding or taste about how a character's outfit must progress. Rey is having basically the same outfit for the third time. Kylo as well. You suggested they will probably (you know they will) change outfits in the film, but that doesnt mean these designs are lazy. I know you belong to Disney company and you will defend their interests and marketing straregy. Not doubting about your skills or anything, just clarifying. But Lucasfilm nowadays are not doing things right and they are lost in the space, literally.

Personally I don't mind lack of significant changes in costumes in movie series. And in fact, I find it financial move to redesign different costumes for each movie.
