At last the HT face looks like the Luke Deepfake.

I just saw again the episode and his clothes seems a mix of ROTJ with prequel black Jedi robes(the inner side).

I think it?s his same ROTJ outfit just completely black altogether instead of the brown cloak and dark grey robes. His belt buckle also looks to be dark silver instead of the scratched up/weathered black with silver poking through.

Glad I bought both versions of Jedi Luke. I imagine Hot Toys will release a new version too though. Too easy for them to skip out on it.

Look at the inner robes, it's prequel black jedi robes, instead of the flight suit he wears in ROTJ

Huh you're right. I guess Luke was just really attached to the black look for some reason and had someone make up an all-black Jedi outfit for him. Lol

I suppose it should be easy enough for anyone to get an Obi-Wan outfit and dye it completely black, if they don't want to wait for the HT version.

I haven't watched The Mandalorian yet, but I'm not a fan of show-related posts in this thread either (the fact that there are even posts here seems to be a spoiler in itself...) Isn't that what the speculation thread is for?

Could be, but I doubt it. I think it’s just meant to be a mere evolution of his his RotJ outfit and I think the cameo was purely fan service. I highly doubt the producers would pull that after his divisive portrayal in the ST. I think this cameo was sort of meant to atone for that in a way and leave a better taste in fans’ mouths when it comes to getting a glimpse of a post RotJ Luke.

I think Luke's appearance makes the chance for an animated show with Luke after ROTJ. If they can improve their CGI/deepfake tech (or just go ahead and use the doubles actual face with some makeup, he looks pretty close), a live action show would be cool too.

I know it's nitpicky, but I do wish he had his brown cloak in the episode but the new one is cool too haha

Obi Wan must have had a wardrobe full of the same cloak the amount of times he removed it in ROTS, and he was back wearing it a few scenes later.
