The first Wolf kicks all the ass I need. Yes, I want the extra goodies so I can have the ultimate Wolf, and I'll most likely be using those parts with the original Wolf, which will continue to be my favorite of the two.

That's what I'm getting at, the unique stuff to cleaner Wolf is great to enhance the first release, but if both versions went up for order at the same time and people could only choose one, my choice, and I imagine the choice of most people, would be the first release.
For me it would be a hard choice between the two.I think both BD and Reg. Wolf bring something nice to the table in their own repective ways.Basically,what it comes down to is which piece speaks to you the most,the BD wolf or the cleaned up reg. Wolf?
And I have no problem with HT releasing these figure's in this way.It keeps them more collectable.Also,the demand for these are so high that both versions will keep thier respective value in a short period of time.
I'm gonna buy both figures and sale off the accessories I dont want,and keep the rest.

That's what I plan on doing as well so I can get the ultimate Wolf!
If there was guaranteed success in that, I'd probably plan the same way. My fear is I'd get bit in the ass and stuck paying for 2 and not getting any cash selling off the scraps.

from what I have seen on ebay , loose parts usually always sell for people making customs and stuff. I have seen bodys hit $80.00 and spears hit $40.00 !.
Things go for stupid prices on there !

Word out in HK is that Hot Toys VIPs who preorder the Cleaner Kit version of Wolf will receive an exclusive item. I don't really know the exact translation but it is either a facehugger or a chestbuster (think it is the facehugger). So it looks like there will a Sideshow exclusive afterall.

Not sure if it is going to be a new sculpt or anything but I can confirm that Hot Toys members who are preordering right now in Hong Kong were notified of an additional item to be included. I think we'll find out when Sideshow puts the Cleaner Wolf up for preorder. I personally hope it's just a regular facehugger.....I already have my Cleaner Wolf preordered
