you know what, sometimes I am pondering about this. Collectors are ultimate sucker man. its like food for us. They know our weak spots and take advantage of it very effectively.

sincerelly when some days ago HT had announce in the newsletter that a new figure had to come and had talk about to presenting the " prototype " shots in the site i really don't understand, what they had to talk about of prototype when they simply had to re-run some wolf with some new accesoires end or minor aestethic changes like the crack in mask, at time that sound more like a complete new figure...it's like the p2 and BD p2 in the site it's very clear, when you go to see the shots of the figures if you see the p2 you see the " real " shots of the proto and in that case there was some big difference between the HT shots of proto in the site and final product, after when BD version was come out you can see in the " proto " shots simply the p2 regular body/ head scupt as it is for the market + add blood e new accesoires
i wonder if this new wolf maybe have some new expression scuplt besides the open mandibles...from the photoshots now around it cant be tell

simpe: they had refer to show us a prototype in the newsletter , but practically what prototype? they haven't to sculpted anything new ( a part some little accesoires )

yes the other product in the annoucement is the cosbabyes, and really i don't think there's a reason to do an alternate brown version for this alien, i don't know why ever HT had done the first time with AVP brown repaint, i know the aliens warrior brown version have sense 'cause that rapresent the real paint scheme of the stuntmen suits and the first blue/dark version is the "film " color, for avp i don't know if there was some different paint app in between the suits and the " film " alien, watching the making of on the dvd it don't seems to me, but for AVP:R i'm pretty sure the color scheme of the suits is that and stop, or maybe i'm wrong?

you guys mentioned that the crack on the wolf started to appear at the near ending of the movie. IS this is because of predalien???

i am curious, HOW he got that crack??? i didnt remember wolf got hit in the face.

and also the more i think about it again. I LOVE the first verrsion better.

think about it. this second version dont have Whip, and dual canon and shuriken. and these 3 are the most iconic weapon of a predator.

okay you may say, it comes with blue liquid but come on, liquid is so stupid. its not a common weapon of predator.

what about medikit?? you always see your figure from the front, BIG DEAL?? not at all. even if you have medikkit, you wont see it anyway since it will be on the back

and the mandible?? PREDATOR ALWAYS LOOKS cooler with mask on, so you dont have to worry about this, do you.

base?? okay this is nice. but for people who already had first version may think like this.

if you get the second version, he will be the only one who is different among other predators in yuor collection.
if you get the 1st version, every predators you have will have same base. isnt it nice : )

this is purely opinion and hopefully people who bought the first version wont have any regrets at all

I folded and just ordered it from a Hong Kong seller on ebay
more ££ but has to be done!

'cause the first version is more a general an " overal version " of wolf , this version is a mix between the first 20 min of film or better the original purpose wolf had to come in the film story , not to forget that his mission is clean up evidence , it's for this that he is there and that's the stuff with he come are his job tools not exatly weapons, who are carried inside the " cleaner case ", who is a implosion bomb itself also, and the moments in which wolf enter in the ospital , in the hive and in the rooftop , when he had the crack in the mask, use the cannon in handheld mode, lose one of his stars and lose the whip

essentially this is an " error " ( so for tell ) of hot toys who had want to make separate versions and mess it up with this

p.s. i think it's some bullets of when ricky shot at him in rage that crack one of the lenses, other damage is an amount of all the aliens attacks during the course of film

yeahh, right. man, you have a very nice memory. NO , ricky or whatever that dude's name is. yes, he did it. He shot wolf many times and that caused crack on his mask.

NO, alien never touched wolf. they didnt land a shot to wolf. the only one that i can remember was when alien jump on the back of wolf and damage his canon laser. thats why he detached one of them.

I have no regrets at all, of the two, I think Cleaner is the weaker figure. I imagine most people excited about Cleaner either missed out on the first Wolf or plan on getting both and will have the ultimate Wolf, I don't think too many people are excited to have the cleaner based solely on the package that he is.

emmm, i am not saying its more inferior. this comes with the base and open mandible. i would say both of them are toss up.

i missed the first version wolf and i think the original is better for me. just matter of taste.

anyway, can you tell me how to post a poll with a thread ?? i know this is off topic.
