Mine seems to stand just fine without the stand, I don't know why it fell.

Sorry to hear you guys have loose knee joints that would suck.

Mine doesn't have bad knee joints...just the ankles don't have a large range of movement and the bottom of the feet are smooth. He just kind of slides around when posed.

Yeah, the ankle movement is crappy, so is the shoulder movement, you can raise the shoulder up laterally but not back and forth.....weird.

Yea the ankles remind me of the first AVP Preds by McFarlane..wobbly kinda but, mine is standing with a semi-wide stance in a detolf next to P2 and no problems at all..i really admire this figure now more and more then when i initially finnished it, i like having the bio helmet in his hand and the mandibles open, i think most pics i have seen so far, just do not do this guy justice..i am talking more so about the head..it looks good.

Does anyones Wolf head have a less darker(black) color around the right eye(non-white one) then the other?..mine seems to have darker shading around the white eye.

I agree, the box is fun looking... but that 4 corner design is difficult to work with. Always felt like if I made a wrong move pieces of the Predator would go flying!
They did for me, because evey corner on the box, and every indent was locked in, and when I pulled to release the lock, sometime parts would "fly" out.

No, mine are consistent through ou the face. Due you have any pictures?

I will try and take some later on tonight, i mean its not that bad just..i look at other pics and around the eyes it looks very black..mine looks like a very dark green on the one side and the other looks more black, and the regular eye on mine(while being dead straight and all) seems it was washed out a bit and does not have that glare to it in the light.

Got home today and my very first box from sideshow came in. It is the SS Ex. Wolf Cleaner. I must say the box weigh more than I expected. But I got a question to the ones who ordered the EX. version. As of now I don't got space to put it together and don't want to open it yet. But I don't see the chest burster through the box window. Where is the burster packed? I also got the regular 1st version of Wolf in my pile-o-loot at BBTS. Is it worth it to own both or should I cancel it? Thanks.

I think the chest burster is taped in the center column of the box and is not visible, its in the black cardboard centre where the instructions are printed on, IMO i think Cleaner Wolf is all you need since people are saying the head is painted better apparently and the open mandibles option, you get a rolled whip and i think the whip is not a big deal to have anyway, one canon is fine..if you wanted another i am sure you could find one on Ebay to attach to the other side of the back plate, there is really no difference in the bio helmets from 1st and 2nd release except the cleaner has more cracks and scrapes which i think improves the look more, the targeting system is painted red this time on the cleaner, i prefer the pistol canon over a whip, cleaner kit is well done as well..i think you should open it up soon though(if you are going to keep it) make sure everything fits right and everything is in the box aswell, loose joints and improper fitting of the joints are a problem on this figure as well, for some.

Actually i would say keep both. i have both and think they are distinct even to warrant having both. The first version has a better head sculpt if you ask me. the seams are not as visible if you choose to heat it and open the mouth. the cleaner version mandible seams are quite visible.

just my 2 cents.

James.

Thanks guys for all the info. My first Predator to own and which got me started to get into the 1/6 scale. In fact it was the original Wolf release...just say Wolf Predator got me started.

Wait til you get a P2 Elder, thats the piece to own....:naughty

When I was getting into the scene, I passed the Elder P2 and the Ancient AVP Predator from HLJ at the retail cost. My main focus are the Dark Knight toys. With all the DK toys coming out, as of now 1 or 2 predator is enough for me. Don't forget Iron Man. Damn Hot Toys.
