regardless of the likeness to bale, this sculpt and over all quality is just to great to pass up, if it was a different character, maybe, but it's john conner, I can't pass this up, a figure of a future john conner that's this kick ass is something I need lol

Did you find the characters a little, um, one dimensional. Particularly Blair and Barnes? Got me a little worried about how they'll appear on film. Just musing...

I got the book and read it in a few hours. I liked it and can't wait to see the movie. It's the first time I ever bought/read a prequel book. I doubt it is something you HAVE TO read before seeing the movie. It was a good appetizer.

Yes it's Marcus, not likely an updated sculpt, it's just a sculpt that looks better and worse depending on lighting.

If this one goes MMS DX as well can we expect Kojun to actually make that sculpt do some kind of mimic motion and blink it´s eyes? Will the gun fire bullets and nades?
Will the mouth drop profanaties like on the set?
But most important, do we get a little DP Shane figure with him?

With Terminator Salvation being the first in a trilogy, can you imagine what Hot Toys will be producing by the time the final installment rolls round.
We may very well get a little Bale who belts out "We're done professionally."

Guys, I have a question. How limited (do you believe) this figure will be in its production run? I saw this figure of John Connor a few weeks ago, and the details on it simply blew me away! However, I only want to spend $140 on something that's truly limited.

Sorry for my noob question! I don't have any figures from Hot Toys as yet, so I'm unfamiliar with their figure's availability/rareness.

that is more or less the price range of hot toys figs but trust me, they are worth it. and check sideshow they may still have jc for preorder or you can try Joe(Mista305).

Well, Hot Toys doesn't publish editions sizes, so the best estimate is no more limited than any other figure of theirs.

Buying Hot Toys, they're limited enough, if you care enough about getting a piece, buy it when it first goes up for order, odds are you'll pay a good ammount more if you wait too long.

Truly, this has to be one of the most detailed figures (if not, the most detailed figure) I've ever seen. But, being a relative 1/6 noob, I guess that's expected of me .

I only have three figures in my collection as of now (two Medicom, and one Enterbay), but the Predators do look pretty neat.

Any time Hot Toys releases a new figure, rest asured it will be the BEST 1/6 scale representation of that character ever produced.

No matter how good he is i can only justify him if i like the movie.

Well, I've given a lot of thought today, about how the reception of the T4 movie may affect the sales of this figure. But, regardless if T4 bombs, fans of Terminator can still fall back on the blockbuster successes of all the previous movies.

Let's not forget, that this figure represents John Connor - the John Connor, the legendary hero of the Terminator franchise, who has been shrouded in myth for over two decades (until now). Being a long time fan of Terminator, I finally gave in and decided to pre-order from Sideshow. This will be my first Hot Toys figure, so I'm looking forward to it very much!
