The only thing that really bothers me with the paint, based on photos, is the hair, something about it almost seems like an incomplete paint job, almost like the early washes before the final layer or something, other than, looks good.

Hmmmm...I'm not seeing that....but I don't have any experience with HT figures to judge how the paint apps usually are. It looks pretty good to me...

It doesn't persay look bad, just almost seems unfinished, best way I can describe it, but regardless, looks pretty good and the heads we get should be even better so nothing to fear, except a long wait to get the figure

Quite amazing for something that's not a custom paint app. Some of them look like mini people. JC the way he is now just won't due for HT standards. Maybe in their older days, but not now. I agree with MaulFan that it doesn't look bad, but just "unfinished."

Right now, all photos are the pre-fixed version. YJ even said his seller will be contacting him once they get replacement heads.

Connor looks great. I'm really liking how everything turned out. I've noticed the only negatives have to do with the paint apps on the head which HT has said they are correcting. I believe that the figure that all of us will be getting later will definetly be top notch and a must have for any Salvation collection.

Well, HT is pretty top notch with clothes and gear, so unless they changed a color or fabric, from the neck down was almost guaranteed to be awesome, either you liked the proto or didn't, paint apps and integrity of texturing on the portrait were the only question marks, and even those look pretty good, so if we'll be getting better, it's almost sure to be a homerun for anyone interested in this figure.

He does look like a simple and overtanned and oiled kendoll in those pics. Can't wait to see the fixes!

agreed...i can't even tell its supposed to be bale. if i didn't come into this thread i would seriously believe it was just some random military figure.

i hope so because if not i'm gonna seek the custom market for a better head. from the neck down its an awesome figure though!!! can't wait to get it either way.
