If the little bits of untrustworthy footage are anything to go by, I’m thinking
he wears Mk IV to confront Thanos early on with the group, the V for the quantum travel stuff, and the VI for the climax.

It looks like several HT figures was pushed back. Sideshow is now saying Dec 2019 - Feb 2020 for WM Mk IV.

I see "Jan 2020 - Mar 2020" maybe it's depends on country where we live :D

Yeah, it looks like the US releases of these figures may have been delayed to fit in the schedules releases of other regions.

As mentioned on the Mk VII thread, I've had this down on my Hot Toys spreadsheet as Jan-Mar 2020 since placing the order shortly after it went live with SSC. :dunno

Same here. I’m guessing for most folks at least, the dates haven’t changed at all. Maybe they were incorrectly marked in some places as earlier and then changed recently to fit.

I guess I read it wrong on Toy Dojo's site, I thought it was originally expected March of this year. Well that gives me some time lol, makes sense now why the End game one is the end of 2020 if this one is releasing early next year. The War Machine Punisher is going to drop at a similar time to this one...I don't know if I need both, hmmm.

At this point I might as well just get the non-diecast Mark 1 for under $300 since it is my favorite model and considerably cheaper.

The non diecast mark 1 is an awesome figure...in this world of diecast it still holds it's own as one of HT best figures ever....and a bunch of awesome features....

This is OT, but did anyone purchase the light up hall of armors display that SS has for sale?...if so, what's your in hand impression...do you use it that much?...i was looking at the set that has the 4 sections

Well, I pre-ordered this and the Avengers Mark 7...Lord, this will be my 3rd War Machine...I thought I was gonna pass because I didnt like the camo...But who am I kidding...I thought I was gonna downsize, but HT is like a narcotic...lol...

I also just preordered Mark 4 "better late than never" :lol. But waiting for this figure about 1 year is sick. I imagine what people feel when they preordered almost year ago :horror

I wonder why does HT announce these figures so far in advance? It makes the wait to get them that much more excruciating. Is it to give people time to save money to buy them? I admit that the flex pay options on Sideshow makes paying for these Iron Man and War Machine figures much more manageable. Paying $50-$60 per month over 6-months is a lot more palatable to the wallet than paying $370-$430 in one go.

Hot Toys just want to cash in on the hype. Movie studios spend millions on advertising, so why not take advantage of the movie marketing and announce related merchandise at the same time? Sure, Hot toys could announce products closer to their release date but the hype would have long passed.
