I'd sell mine if it were for $800
Better put it out on eBay soon as I'm guessing since I just bought it, the Endgame version announcement should be any day now!

I was really hoping they were going to do an IW/ EG version.... I don't suppose there have been any rumors on this front?

Please excuse me if I sound confused. Your last sentence, how is your CW display Falconless when you said you have a CW Falcon?EG hype is over I think what was up for PO is all were getting but HT will make the new Falcon. If you're trying to put together a IW/EG cast then that's gonna suck. I have CW Falcon and was hoping HT would announce an IW/EG Falcon since I display by movie and my CW display is Falconless.

Perhaps the CW Falcon had to be removed from the CW display and is currently being used for the End Game display.
Had some time to mess with him today and thought Id share the mods so far,as posted before, I removed the outfit and planed on messing with the wings after finding some helpful tips from fellow Freak Username in the TWS Falcon thread. Note that removing the suit has nothing to do with modding the wings.
here are wings as before doing anything, I started by slightly heating up the 2 panels on the wing and prying them off with a very small flat head screw driver

I then removed the screw holding the longest wing panel in place along with the plastic ratchet nut thing (in red) this piece is what makes the wing move along the 2 or 3 clicks in position and limits how high or low you can go, its a good idea but why limit it to 3 notches is beyond me, had they notched out the entire hole it would've greatly increased articulation. The parts circled in white are the parts that hit the other panel when pulling the wing down so I sanded them down with a dremel (this piece is hidden behind the other panel and is not visible anyways)

I had to leave out the part of the wing panel (purely aesthetic) because it is too raised and hits the smaller panel

after that I reassembled the mount that holds the jetpack (momentarily since Im still messing with the outfit) and you can see that now the wings can articulate to more degree

he now can be placed in the detolf with the option of having his wings down, I still need to make or buy a new flight stand base because this one uses up a crazy amount of space and once I get him re-outfitted I will post pics with him and the team, I hope this helps if someone else was curious and can maybe improve upon this idea if anyone has any questions Id be happy to help (Iv never posted this kind of work before so I dont know how to organize the steps better)

I know your post was a long time ago but thank you for taking the time to post it back then.
I have been thinking of modifying my CW Falcon so that the wings don?t have to take up so much room. I remembered that someone had shared tips on a mod but couldn?t remember where it was and I never thought about it when I had the time to go back through the posts.
At any rate I?m thinking that I?m going to try this in a couple of weeks ...wish me luck
Just gonna drop this here - a quick pic of this space-sucker and probably the last Falcon I will own (I have the TWS Falcon as well). Tho it's not too bad if u have the space and can put him in back. (And forgot how easy this Bucky is to work with - shiny, shiny arm which happy to say is holding up great)
Just began slowly boxing figs for a move next year; but gonna keep the CW figs and some others out for a while. The good 'ol days when one great fig after another rolled out at ~ 220$ except for stuff like IM. Gotta find his box tho 'coz I forgot how to get the wings off for packing. Or check YT.
Good times, good times. Guess maybe I should sell him $$$$ I don't want to.
PS. have hated all the boxes all this time, but now am glad I kept them. Safer for a move.

Still POd they didn't do an IW Falcon with the 3 drones. If they do a series Falcon I would pick him up $$$$$
Awesome group shot!
Yeah Falcon in his glory takes up so much room, but he is such an impressive figure!!! This is why I wasn?t to still be able to see his wings yet manage space. He looks cool without the wings, but with the wings the figure is at another level.
I think the new figure from the TV show looks pretty good and the way they did the wings seems incredible. But overall I guess I prefer the more militarized look of the Civil War version. For me the TFWS wings on the CW version would be the ultimate Falcon for me.
Good luck with your upcoming move, i hope everything goes smoothly and that you love your new place!
Thank U! Well, it's just a planned move right now; but my loose movie group collections - it's a fair number of figs to re-box - figured I do a bit over time. Plus I've got poly stuff to re-box too.
Well...TBH didn't like the show enough to wanna invest in Falcon Cap - yet - but with so many production or shipping delays, where I used to leap on POs - it would have to be another Falcon like at the beginning of the show - or better the IW version with 3 drones - before I PO day one.
Tho happy to report both Falcons have held up well and still look great - dunno if it's accurate but I figure if I get 10 years from a fig with no real problems like oiling or degrading, I'm good. I do get humidity and fluctuating temps, but run fans a lot and the figs are mostly under glass.
Yeah, those boxes can take up a lot of room but they certainly can come in handy at times.
And yes, I meant the wings at the beginning of FTWS would look great on the Civil War Falcon I think. I didn?t love that early FTWS costume but I really like the wings.
My Civil War Falcon is holding up great also, he looks brand new!
Looks great! The color you chose matches very well. I understand what you mean about the finish, but you did a great job from what I can see. Only thing I can see you might need is maybe a few scratches like the chest piece to help blend with the over all look. But that?s just if you wanted too. Looks good as is too! Can’t wait to see it complete!
