yeah its a pretty good idea..... and executed quite well in this case. Looks very nice
With a little work, it can be made to look more like the GA helmet. And it has a far better sculpt than the GA one, that's for sure.

That's really awesome. I know that not many folks liked the gritting teeth but I honestly think it actually looks good specifically for action poses (a rarity in of itself). Also while some might think his expression doesn't look fierce enough, I think it actually leans closer to how he looked in his final battle with Bucky which makes it even more scene-specific in my eyes ("Please don't make me do this...")

So, I have the strike head and can't figure out how to get the thing on while looking right. The Golden Age has the separate long neck and the Strike has a neck on the sculpt already that is shorter. I haven't changed parts or done maintenance in some time, so although the answer is probably right in front of me I'm stumped here. Thanks for any info.

No worries. The artist known as Username, then as Bar for a short time, then back to Username again. I occasionally do custom work for people, and changing to Bar meant some of them didn't know where i had gone, lol.
Finally, I'm happy with my GA Cap, I can now say he is my favorite Cap~
The cost is heavy, wasted a KO Rogers head from strike pack, the belt/ear protection from KO GA helmet, KO rescue head sculpt, Original GA helmet (cut the original head and slightly damaged the face, the glue is incredibly strong!!!!)

Just received the Two pack rogers head today I scored and wow, it makes this figure 10 times better, love the head and it seems to tone down the broad look of the shoulders having a larger scaled head on it
