For the record it had always stated a July release.

Yeah, I believe you, it did say July before, he must have got an update, and so far, he still hasn't sold out of his first allotment, so it's not like that's batch 2 and coming later.

I imagine for the sake of being different, they'll make the Cop ensemble the primary item and how the figure will be dressed.

I'm curious about the box art though, will it be similar to other MMS packaging, or is HT going to do something more pristine and generic to promote the higher class of the DX line.

I was wondering about that the other day. Hoping for a 'special' box, but it could simply be like the Two Face box with diff 'figures' on the diff sides and a tray for the extra clothes.

I'd love a box that has pictures of upcoming DX figures on it instead of the rest of the TDK line but that's really dreaming I think

Heh, maybe if we ask HT reeeally nicely they will do that. I just want to see a pic or get ANY news on the supposed TDK Bats DX. The lack of info on that is starting to get to me.

I want info on all the tentative DX figures, TDK Batman, Rambo, Rocky. So much promise in that little article.

As far as the Batman though, if they're going to do it right, they'll be exploring a custom body, studying the Medicom figure, putting a lot of work into it.

I'll be taking the clothes off and futzing everything anyway, I have a feeling Cop Joker'll come out of the box needing some futzing to get him all sharp looking, he's a cop in an honor guard, he should look very nice.

On this too, basically for months we havn't anything, except that changes will be made. Not even on what?! Keep us in the loop already HT!

I just sent them an email asking when we might be able to see some updated pics or at least have them tell us what has been updated. Also, if his shipping date of Augustish has been delayed at all by the updates. They are very good at getting back to me so hopefully I'll have some updates soon.

After seeing the packaging from recent HT releases and how much they differ from previous releases I'm gonna say expect something different from the DX line to distinguish it from normal MMS releases.

I would imagine it would be larger. Not Godfather large, but larger than the usual MMS packaging. I imagine they'd want to show off the unused Joker outfit and unless they package it like Harvey's spare jacket, it would need some more room in the package to not be hidden or folded up.

I hope he'll be packed in the regular outfit, with the PERS head. It'll be far easier to redress him as the Cop if desired than the other way round.
The cop outfit would also take up less space in the package loose than the multi layered regular outfit.
Hopefully HT realise that most people want to display him that way and that the cop is really the bonus outfit.

I am actually looking forward to the purple outfit the most of the two. But I would rather him be dressed already as a cop.
