Toys2, I've gotten all of my Dark Knight figures from them, I like their service and they get it from the HK so I get it sooner. They're sold out of DX Joker right now though.

Here is Snake's billyb set, 'installed', first one i found. Note how the collar closes to a proper fit around the neck, the pattern is smaller, and more accurate to the movie, for a 1/6th scale, the tie is a better material and again, a much nicer, accurate pattern

I don't know the answer to that one, I've always ordered as soon as they have things available so I don't know how they handle things.

I think Billy found some way to take a computer pattern for the shirt and apply it to cloth for his shirts, not sure at all on the tie, though I know there are large files out there with the pattern.

So glad I ordered from toys2 for this one, I'm pretty patient when it comes to figs and I just go for the cheapest but I wanted this one asap.

Correct on both cases, Joker through DCD shipments will likely be around Jan-February now, possibly even March.

As for Toys2, they have great service and yes, they get their stock from the HK shipments so the only delay with them is the ammount of time it takes to get from Hot Toys' factory, which is usually 2-4 weeks, pretty sure everything goes by boat, though I don't know why, that seems so slow.

Joker's should be showing up at Toys2 within a month.

I believe the shipment is still by air but I suspect he doesn't get his order filled until after the production roll out in HK is filled first as he is not ordering onesies or twosies

No. The HK shipments were originally scheduled July-August and now we're at September-October. There was hope that him not being on time was because of changes to the figure, which we can now see there are no differences from what we first saw, so odds are, he's later than they first predicted just because it took longer to make him as is, and that because he just took longer than they expected for the HK shipments, odds are it'll take equally longer with the DCD ones than they expected.

Ok, well about the John Connor figure, the first wave had really bad head paintjobs. I'm assuming people who got theirs straight from Hong Kong got the bad heads. When the toy released in America, did they get the improved painted heads?

All I know is that hot toys made improved heads but were sold separately from the figure. I assume the later shipments of the figure included the fixed head for those who had to wait longer for their figure.

Looking at Toys2 website I did remember seeing like 3 separate lists of TDK Batman figures so I assume he opens up a new sku if HT decides for additional production runs and he can get allocations for pre orders again?
I know he also gets stuff through separate channels like the other day I saw him having a IM Mach III which he bid for as customers still wanted it. Also he is sourcing leather pants etc for me and several more customers for TS Marcus. I wouldn't mind sourcing it myself but no one in the TS Marcus thread has answered my call for advise what clothes I should put on my currently still half naked Marcus

As far as I know, BillyB does indeed use patterns from the web. The tie is 100% accurate.

Yeah, same here. I also ordered the HK shipment from him also. I hope he has some updates, can't wait.
