It's scary how Billy's shirt still puts the DX shirt to shame. Is that Billy's tie too?
Billy's shirt looks soft and proper colour pattern. Where as v1 and DX looks awfully coarse to be honest plus the collar still doesn't look perfect on the DX, like Billy's.

I re-ironed a crease into them and glued them down, padded the shoulders, glued the waistcoat shut and cut off most of the sport coat.

I think the combo with tie was approx $30-$35. A real bargain.
Has anyone already got the impression that the overcoat seems to have a wire in it? Just look at the pic where it is lying next to the suit...

My mistake, my eyes were fooling me into seeing blue diamonds.
That's because they ^^^^ed up the pattern and it makes the blue spaces the prominent ones.

The only thing worrying me is, do you think the coat wil still be nice and rich purple in colour in production?
The V1 looked bright at proto stage and look at the above pic!
Toys2 will be about same as Joe once shipping is factored for non-Canadian buyers.

They can't supposedly say they don't have enough reference images. The film has been out how long now?...

I do have reservations too. As far as the non-cop stuff, the head's the only thing I'm confident in, that's pretty much a piece of cake for them at this point, paint'll look good, detail'll be there.
Now, whether the gloved hands look more purple and the coat, that's up in the air because it didn't happen on v1 and not knowing those reasons, nothing says it won't on v2. The first Jack Sparrow had an almost black coat in his proto and production was chocolate brown.
